I've been a loyal Stubhub seller and buyer for over a decade and I frequently place my season tickets for various teams for sale on their site. Recently, I placed tickets for a San Diego Chargers game on sale through Stubhub.com. I concurrently listed my tickets through my season ticketholder account with the Chargers. The Chargers have a relationship with Ticketmaster (NFL Ticket Exchange) that lists these tickets on their site.

When I received an email from Ticketmaster that my tickets sold, I logged into my Stubhub account. To my surprise, I was not able to find the tickets under an active listing and it had also been sold to another buyer. I called customer service immediately and the rep said that I would be responsible for the dropped sale and would be charged $150 for it. I informed her that I would like to appeal it since I did not want the Stubhub buyer to be denied entry at the stadium with the original hard tickets (although I could have sent the hard tickets and fulfilled my order - and be paid for it)

The next day, I submitted my appeal and Stubhub informed me that I would receive a response in 2 business days. After 5 business days, I sent them an email to 2 separate departments and received a quick email saying that I would not receive a refund. I would like to share my poor customer service experience.
