i booked turkish airline ticket from london to
kathmandu via istanbul for my brother 1 month ago.
while check-in ,desk officer says connecting flight
tk0726 has been rearranged and it is impossible to
catch connecting flight.
we were not informed at all.they didnot bother to
inform us before ,instead we were told to wait 24
hr in airport as they cannot confirm they can
provide hotel to spend night.
what a shame!!!
they are unable to provide hotel outside citing visa
problem too.
they had no answer why passenger has to wait 24 hr
in airport.they didnot even try to see any alternate
options for passenger.
they said ,they have no choice.they just did not
have any solution to solve problem. they are bound
to send passenger to another airlines instead to say
to stay 24 hr in airport in cold words.
at that check-in time ,we had to ask refund money
and find another travel agency to book ticket from
another airport and take all hassle to fly with
another airlines..
turkish airlines should not be allowed to fly from
istanbul to kathmandu if they cant assure passenger
any option.its unhuman to treat people like goats .
they have no shame in leaving passenger helpless
while travelling and telling to wait for 24 hr in
airport .how pathetic service .... how they can be
rated so high as airline..i am completely baffaled.
say no to turkish airline!!!! i will never fly with
turkish airlines and recommend same to other.
