Second and Final Interviewer were rude and unprofessional

I applied at Acquire Asia Pacific at their office in Shaw Boulevard. They did not even bother to ask for my resume but I did fill out the tiny application form. Perhaps because I was invited by Nezda, a recruitment firm. I arrived at 2pm on October 15,2017 and got interviewed after more than an hour considering that there are only 1-2 applicants. I passed the initial interview but was advised to come back the next day because at 4pm, the people who will do the other interview already went home.

I came back the next day, before 8am I was at the recruitment office already. I was interviewed by a team leader, I am not good at remembering names. But this lady is quiet arrogant or rude, she won’t let you finish and will keep on interrupting you. That was the other applicant also said about this person. I passed this interview and was sent to undergo training, to prepare for the final interview. I did not expect to pass the training but we were given a chance to proceed to the final interview. The trainer was good and professional in dealing with applicants. He said that I am a smart girl but I need to be more confident. I admit my nerves were killing me because after 3 years since I left my previous company to focus on my daugther first, this will be my first interview ever.

So, I was the last to be interviewed by the manager and a team leader. It is a panel interview. I was wearing a scarf because I feel very cold in the production floor. I went there but these two ladies shoo me away and said we will just call you. They were just talking at each other, gossiping perhaps. After a while, the other lady called me. So I went there and the first question that were asked to me by the manager was if I was dying or something. I was surprised and felt insulted. Because I look like I was dying the manager reiterated but the team leader asked me if I was sick. I said no but a little bit nervous. This manager asked me to go out again and come back, it is more like I am auditioning for a pageant. I tried to be confident and sell myself as possible. We did the mock call to prove to them that I am capable since I was a case manager at my previous company, I handled complaints basically. And the manager asked her subordinate to pretend as the customer because she admitted that she is harsh, but the manager did not let me finish. When they talk to me, they will look at each other and laugh. But I stayed calm and gave my best answer.

I failed that interview and the reason was I was not confident enough. It was okay. But I don’t think these interviewers were very unprofessional. Why would you treat your applicants like that because they are not an employee yet? It was a very traumatic experience, it didn’t help to boost my confidence with all the insults I received. You shouldn’t asked your applicants if they are dying. They could have asked if I am okay or make me feel at home so I will be more confident. But no, they act as if they own the company. They want confident employees, yes, and that confidence will just be used to insult, disrespect, to be rude, to intimidate, to power trip applicants.

Never again, will I apply with this company. I am the kind of employee who stays long in a company regardless of the circumstances. I stayed almost 5 years at my first ever call center company. I am not bitter but rather disappointed the way I was treated.

Delayed Backpay

The last day I rendered my duty was on the 7th of June, but was only cleared on the 18th of June. I followed up with with my backpay last 17th of August and was told that I would be expecting my backpay on the first week of October. I find it unreasonable for my backpay to take that long to be processed. I will be expecting a reply from your office to decide wether to file a complaint to the Department of Labor and Employment...

INACCURATE INFORMATION MISLEADING DELAYING BAD HR MANAGEMENT

Good working environment .. almost great butttt .. HR is the worst nightmare .. if they have a mistake they will deny and prolong it until you quit on asking them .. 1 took morethan a year before i got the simple answer on my issue and its theyr fault !! and they are trying to get away with it .. they are not calibrated and they wil be boastfull saying they are even not.. Specially the manager Neil Gasendo .. pig face worst manager at all times .. he will pretend he wants to help but at the end he will drown you down.. he will also teach you to do wrong things that will affect you and being banned at BPO he also said i could lie in other centers to apply saying that the case that i file at NLRC is done so i can be hired !!! and at the end since acquire is a big company they prolong and use money to turn it upside down.. and instead of them getting it resolve they will ask money from you the big thing IS I EVEN DIDNT ASK MONEY FROM ACQUIRE I JUST ASK THEM TO FIX IT SINCE I LOVE ACQUIRE JUST THAT THEY MESS UP.. its my right to ask and to know what happened and instead of them answering and fixing that manager NEIL GASENDO ASK FOR MONEY against me! i will push the case to ACQUIRE because they will never learn they will just do the same routine for agents to quit and not to file a case .. the good company will be ruined because of the management .. unless someone like me sacrifice even i lost a lot to have this management learn! my case is very simple to let it happen to have answer for morethan a year.. and let me penalise on my SSS.. its not about the SSS its about the process that HR is doing they informing agents incorrectly and once agent notice they will prolong so agents will get tired on following it up!.. its very simple to admit they made mistake on the 1st month so i had it fix but they did they prolong the simple anwer for 1year penalties was so big now and im delinquent i cant even use it for my loan and my wife just gaved birth to my baby and now i owe a lot to the hospital.. and now i cant work at BPO since i stil have pending case at NLRC to ACQUire which NEIL GASENDO WANTS ME TO LIE probably he thinks im stupid that il grab it and he will let that company know so il be more drown to the ground! is this the right manager to have at acquire>???? and the funny thing is NEIL GASENDO IS ASKING FOR HALF A MILLION YES 500,000 pesos becuase i ask and want to correct them even its their mistake .. even i lost il let TULFO know this because they might pay the NLRC ARBITER SINCE THEY ARE RICH! WHO KNOWS IF NLRC WILL DO CRAZY THINGS BUT I TRUST THEM JUST INCASE THAT ONLY ACQUIRE MADE IT ON THE OTHER WAY AROUND!

Yang jermaine rosales na yan akala mo napaka bait sayo. Power tripper. This complaint is not for me but for my colleague Tim. He was her center of attraction. She hated hia guts even heard her once that she'll do everthing to kick him out
Is that the right way to be a superior?

Backpay

Kindly correct your records regarding my backpay. I just called today and I was advised that I finished my clearance on May 20 however I cleared it the last week of April. I was also given an email address but I'am not getting any response..I was advised that the maximum is 3 mons and it's almost 3 mons.

No back pay yet

It has been more than 70 days and my back pay is not not yet released. I have been calling to follow it up for 3 weeks and they say the same BS that it's still in process. They said I have been cleared from the management ang HR and it's being calculated by the finance team. 3 WEEKS of calculating! Still waiting!

Acquire BPO (Dodo Sales) - WORST MANAGERS I'VE EVER MET

I'm speaking not just for my self but in behalf of the people who shares the same sentiments.


I'm not popular in Dodo Sales, I don't have many friends in the office. I've been to different industry and been a manager myself. In years that I've stayed in Dodo Sales one thingthat I have noticed is that Managers from Dodo Sales lacks not only leadership but knowledge in running the business and handling people. Pretty much everyone is a puppet of their boss. They neglect real talents and potentials of other team leaders specially if you are not part of their BARKADAHAN. And most of them are drug users as well, pushers and gamblers (I will discuss that on a separate topic). Increase of pay are only given to Team Leaders and Managers who belongs to their inner circle, that's what people are talking about. JP Novelles will never qualify to get same position as he has right now from other company as he is incompetent as a comatose patient. No people skills at all, his hobby is judging people. They can't even create their own projects nor have their own idea, they only depends on what one manager will say, if they think it sound good to ear they will use it even if they don't know what they're talking about. People are laughing behind them as they are not making sense most of the time, they are talking dumb-ass. These managers (Asackil Aguell, Rum Ariola, Carlo Dumlao, Dana Castro, Jelo Ong, Martty Dujali) think like as if they are gods when in fact they are the product of the freak show. Useless minds, useless people, useless managers. Unorganize! Lack of Process in running the business. Blaming the Team Leaders when they can't achieve the demand of the business. Pointing their fingers to helpless team leaders and agents when in fact when the business fail it only means it was mismanage by the managers. Dodo Sales is sinking ship! With these kind of managers running the show, Dodo Sales will be dead! I hope we can have more of Olivier, RJ, Xat kind of managers.

WORST TL AHRIE ATILANO

I'm still part of the company so I don't like to come out. I've been part of the company for quite a while now and still under TL Ahrie's Team. I am very disappointed to be part of this team. He as TL don't know how to navigate the system most specially whenever we need sup calls nor even know how to talk to customers. He always go out for a smoke even if it's not breaktime and always disappear on the floor. He's giving the workloads to us which is very stressful even if he should be the one who should do it. He always play online games like COC which is totally not work related. They even have COC group in the office. Also, he's having an affair to one of the agents. They always show Public display of affection like hugging each other, using vulgar words, He always tell us how they did their sex and how happy it was for him, and telling stories which are totally non sense and not work related. I don't even know how he got the position aside from that he's a totally Language Barrier. He's very dishonest to his agents and will definitely drag you down most specially if he ain't gonna get something from you for his benefit like PM Dexter Dimapilis. By the way, I hate it whenever PM Dexter use vulgar flirty words to me and touching me sometimes. I find it irritating. Anyway, I'm about to resign very very soon because of this and since there's no growth here. By the way I felt bad to those agents who left the company because of mismanagement and unjust people of the management making or giving bad reputation to the company.

Unreasonable Termination

Sabihin natin, nag kakamali rin tayo sa trabaho natin, walang perfect, pero open tayong mapag sabihan or I coach diba, Verbal warning kung baga, yung unang beses na may nag reklamo sayo na customer kasi nababaan mo ng di sinasadya, tapos nag email about sa incident na yun, ok tangap na mapagalitan, ok na dumaan s procedure pero, aminin natin maraming ganun case na di sinasadyang ma-cut ang line, pero diba di naman sapat na rason yun para Iterminate mo na kagad yun agent mo na alam mong nag pe-performed naman, anu ayaw nio sabihin na nag babawas kayo ng tao, kaya kahit na maliit na butas sisilipin nio, nasaan ang code of ethics nyo?? na terminate na kagad sa unang pag kakamali pa lang? anu hindi uso ang verbal warning, written warning o kahit final warining??parang mas matatangap ko pa nga kung sinabi nyo na final warning na, baka maintindihan ko kayo,pero termination kagad ginawa nyo eh, tapos pag di pumayag force resignation ang iooffer nyo? nasaan ang hustisya? shame on you.

power tripper at Epal

ang mga tao sa HR ay mga epal. Mahilig mag power trip at kahit wala kang kasalanan ,pag di kayo close ng mga TL ,managers or even HR,iteterminate ka nila.Hahanapan ka nila butas para kunwari valid yung reason nila para i Term ka.. I've been for 3 years in Acquire pero nang magreresign na ako,di sila pumayag kase daw may kasalanan daw ako kaya term daw talaga. I am already waiting for my back pay..sana naman di na madelay.

POWER TRIPPER PM: DEXTER DIMAPILIS

He was the most embarassing and dick head programme manager I've ever met. He works in Winback Department - Collections and majority of the people don't like him. He wants everything in favor to him. If he don't like you, he will do everything to kick you out by finding even the smallest hole. By the way, I actually don't know why he become a programme manager... He didn't even know how to talk to customers everytime we ask for supcalls as well as navigating the systems. He always eat in the floor sometimes hiding food under his table or to his small pedestal. He always play online games application as well and surfing internet websites which is not work related. He also flirts to agents using unacceptable and vulgar words. He's a camelion, he change personality everytime Bosses arrives like Sandra. Also he's having a long time affair to one of the QA's which is married.n ANYWAY, they're saying that they comply to rules and regulations of the company but what's happening is totally different.

slow level up, powertrip superiors

agwork ako ng 3 yrs sa Acquire from Sales Dept. & I'm one of the top performer sa team, never umaabsent at na-lalate but still ang teamleader ko di pa din ako ni-levelup. To think na maganda naman yung performance ko at hardworking ka pa. Mas pinapaboran nila yung agent nila na magaling mag-kiss ass or yung sinasabing "sipsip" at yun yung i-aappraise nila. One impt thing pa tl's discretion pa din ang pagpapalevelup nila sayo. Napaka-unfair and professional ng mga superior. Sana ayusin nyo ang mgt nyo kada dept para maganda feedbacks sanyo.
Applicants think 2x pls before accepting this company. You dont want to be working in a bpo company tulad nito diba. Sayang Acquire.

This isnt really a complaint but a clarification on how many days a backpay should be processed based on Philippine Lanor Code. That 45-60 days processing is that business days or that includes the weekends? Can someone send me an email about this? [email protected]

BACK PAY

Hi, I was once a part of Acquire's sales team and just like you guys I too am a victim of Acquire's UNJUST treatment to its employees. I served my last day with them last October 30, 2013. After completing my clearance, I was informed that I just need to call back after 1 month to make a follow-up on my back pay. Given that expectation , I then decided to call on November only to be informed this time that processing would take 3 months!!! Unbelievable isn't it??? That's their "policy" according to the lady I spoke with and then I started to wonder if NLRC is aware of this or if this is indeed valid and acceptable. Okay so 3 months would mean by January. I started calling again on January, spoke to the same lady and as expected, still got the same answer..."its still being processed" . I started to become really irritated and told the lady "i thought you said processing would take 3mos. Its already January and we are on the 3rd month" She then sarcastically answered me with " Bakit tapos na po ba ang January?" I then demanded for her to provide me the exact date on when they intend to release my money but she could not give any precise answer always false excuses. It's February already and its the 4th month since I left the company. I tried to call them again today, but the lady still keeps on giving me a run around and a lot of alibis. So to those who are planning to work with Acquire, you better think twice. I will never ever recommend this company to anybody. If there's a survey for the WORST EMPLOYER, Acquire will definitely rank No.1.

Hour personnel of Acquire Asia Pacific are unprofessional. They don't know what they are talking about in regards to agents' disputes. Lalo na ang finance dept nila,hndi on time magbigay ng commision at delay magpa-regular. Hindi ka pa daw regular sa status eh naka-sign kna ng regularization form.delaying tactics

Acquire Asia Pacific inhouse call centers of telco DODO located and World wide corporate building.Didn't provide backpay on time should only attained 45-60 days over 60 days still not what it really kind of companies that do not comply with labor code.They will give you a lot of excuses.Guys please don't EVER TRY TO WORK AT ACQUIRE ASIA PACIFIC they don't even provide fair compensation and commisions.
