Double booking

ID 207506479- The worse experience ever the 1st and last to make use of your service. This is my second submission I'm unable to locate my 1st complaint send on the 8th. On the 5th I made a booking for Buckleigh Guest House in Durban North. Having received the confirmation my accommodation has been booked. I was happy to plan my trip from Richards Bay to Durban. Upon my arrival at the Guest house I was told the Guest house was fully booked and Agoda was suppose to let them know that there was a double booking. However nobody bothered to contact me but my account was debited and I'm now left stranded. The receptionist contacted Agoda , after an hour two options were emailed to accommodate me. When speaking to the consultant I was promised that its the same as my preference to the previous booking. The Flintstones and the Royal Hotel were the options and I selected the Flintstones which was nearby Buckleigh Guest House but it was not to me expectations. I had to drive back to Buckleigh not knowing where to Im going to stay. The receptionist contact Agoda again and informed them that I not happy with the choice. The consultant from Agoda spoke to me and said that they will make arrangements with the Royal and that I can go there immediately. Upon my arrival at the Royal I received a call from Agoda just to inform me that they unable to reverse the booking with Flintstones and will not be able to book at the Royal. By then I was so upset and being female parked in an alley and nowhere to go. I just started crying and shouting which was so emotional that the consultant decided to call back later. I left and after 2hrs running around for accommodation I had to get on with my plans. Later that day the Agoda consultant contacted me and confirmed that they have managed to secure a booking at the Royal and I should take down the reference number. Happy knowing that I have a place to stay but not knowing what awaits me. Later that afternoon I arrived at the Royal with my son just to find out that they have no confirmation of my booking. I had to try and explain what has happened and that the reference number was the only confirmation I had. The manager tried contacting Agoda but no luck and after 2hrs they managed to locate the booking. By then I was an emotional mess tears were just rolling and my son had to deal with this. I've always booking online but never came across such a bad experience. Thanks for the emotional trip, spoiling my weekend and for all the tears shed. Well done...
