I have been planning my 2018 summer family vacation to Europe for a while now. I purchased my tickets in April from San Juan to Madrid. In June, I received an email from Air Europa communicating the cancellation of their flight. The only reasonable alternative provided was to travel to Madrid through Miami. Little did I know that I had to purchase the tickets from SJU to MIA for my family of 5 to catch the "remediation" flight that Air Europa offered. I ended up paying over $1,000 to get to Miami last minute. The call center service was far from satisfactory, not to mention the poor service in the Miami airport.

Air Europa does not provide a service up to par for the US market. I would never ever purchase another flight ticket through this airline. They feel they own my vacation calendar and my wallet as well! Too bad!
