Sagging aireloom vitagenic medium firm

Got this mattress three months ago and turned once after first thirty nights. Went today to Macy's web site and Google found no matches on when to turn this king size couple of tacos and tomorrow is Tuesday. Cannot find aireloom user manual by Aireloom or Macy's on google and about to be swallowed by this bed we are paying for. Can picture headline now. "Couple eaten by Macy's purchase." Maybe this year they should have a parade float showing CPAP hoses comming out of a mattress. Nothing like dying in your sleep.

We purchased an airloom pavilion resort collection queen mattress and box spring on 3/30/16 and I have had several issues with my back since and felt that there was something wrong with product. Mattress has hole in middle and is very unstable and uncomfortable. Called HOM Furniture in Fargo, ND 1-800-341-1322 and they said that they couldn't do anything because mattress was out of warranty. They Told us that we should have walked in middle of it when we received it to break it in!!!!! We are not stupid people as they seem to portray, and was very insulting for them to think that we would believe such a statement. Dealers such as this are not doing your product any favors with there inability to take care of the customer in a supportive manner.

aireloom mattress

We purchased our Aireloom Chantille Ultra Plush Euro Top Eastern King mattress from Mancini's in Mountain View, CA., Nov. 2012. What had sold us on spending $8101.00 on a mattress was that when we tested it in the showroom we did not feel the movement of our partner. For us, who are light sleepers, this is a major deal. Our body was supported and it was very comfortable. A bit too high for us, so we exchanged the tall box spring for one that was several inches shorter.
We received that mattress and straight away there was a problem. Not Mancini's problem, we would need to contact an independent inspector (Premier Inspection Services,LTD.), at our expense, to analyze the mattress and make a recommendation. He did, and basically said that the problem was in our head.
Here it is 2016 and the mattress still does not live up to the mattress that we tested in the showroom. The shape is trapezoidal, and we feel every movement that our partner makes. Rolling over, change in position, sneezing and coughing are all felt by the other.
We feel gypped and misled. How could we have been so stupid. We could have purchased a cheaper mattress and changed it out when it no longer was comfortable.

sagging mattress

This is so interesting....A couple of years ago, my mom gave me her brand new, Aireloom Hybrid Bamboo mattress as she decided to purchased a different size (mine is a queen). I live in an older building, and there is a place in my bedroom floor where it's uneven, so when I started to feel like I had to roll uphill to turn over in bed, I figured it was the floor, not the mattress; however, my handyman used his balance to show me that the floor underneath my bed is indeed level, which was so baffling to me, as I feel as though I am sleeping in a ditch when I am on my side of the bed.

I have a solid platform bed, with storage drawers, so it can't be chalked up to an unsteady base or bed frame. I stumbled upon this site accidentally this evening, while researching mattresses, and am now 100% convinced that my mattress is to blame, and I am not crazy.
Not only that, but the mattress weighs about a million pounds, and sits inside the platform, so that changing the fitted sheet is akin to a strenuous gym workout. Just lifting the mattress is ridiculous. Once, while lifting the corner, I felt the fabric tear, on the underside of the mattress.

My mom kept telling me how expensive the mattress was, that it was a really good mattress. I can't lie; it's super cushy and comfortable, but the sagging is beyond annoying. I have propped it up under one side with books/magazines to even it out, but I can promise you I won't be spending my own money on an aireloom, when I am ready to replace this one.

Saggin bed

Do not even think of buying an airloom bed. We bought one from Macys in Oceanside. It began to sag within about a month or two.
Made the mistake of waiting too long to call the company. You have 90 days. After that, they came out and agreed that it sagged , but since it wasn't over an inch and a half they would not take it back. Actually the bed sagged an inch and the box spring sagged another 1/2 inch which equals the 1 1/2 inches but since the box spring was involved they would not take it back. Macy's refused to help. We sold the bed less than a year later with over a $3000.00 loss.
My advice is do not get involved with Airloom.

Failure to honor warranty

I purchased an Aireloom Mattress. The store that I bought it from no longer carries Aireloom. The inspector from the independent inspection company determined that the mattress failed. Originally, Linda Menzel from Aireloom wanted me to spend about $1420 to ship the mattress to California from New Jersey and back. When I pointed out that they had a plant in PA, Ms. Menzel stated that it would cost $620 to ship the mattress to and from PA.

When I accepted their offer to ship the mattress to PA, Aireloom wanted me to sign an agreement not to disparage as well as waive any future legal rights. After questioning Ms. Menzel, she stated that even if the mattress were defective when it was returned to me, I could not sue Aireloom. By adding the requirement of not to disparage and to waive all future rights, they violated the terms of their warranty and thus defrauded me.

In my opinion, Aireloom is a terrible company to deal with because they do not honor their warranty. If they did this to me, do you think they will treat you any differently?

Sagging, heat retention

I bought an aireloom mattress from OC mattress in Costa Mesa CA. Was told when I bought this that there was no memory foam, but alas this was untrue. After purchase I noticed heat retention and complained to the store and manufacturer. Found out that it contained 7% memory foam. After several months have noticed sagging and "holes." Paid lots of money and disappointed. Would not recommend.

Sagging mattress

If you're researching a new mattress please read the above reviews and DO NOT buy an Aireloom product. Like the others above have written within weeks my wife and I found our new mattress to be forming deep depressions. We called Aireloom and they sent an inspector and the results were that the "holes" were within expected body depressions.
That's the last Aireloom I'll ever buy. Absolute junk.

Aireloom Bed Sagging

I have been sleeping with back pain for the last several months due to my $3,000.00 AIRELOOM bed. My wife and I have impressions on both sides of our bed with a hill in the middle. I complained to Sit n Sleep and they told me to contact Aireloom for a warranty inspection. They did come out with the string and measured. I was declined because my indentions were 1 1/4 inches and not the 1 1/2 required. The problem with this test is that the memory foam puffs up and it doesn't look like there is any problem with the bed. The minute you lay on it you can tell that the materials underneath have deteriorated. I can feel the springs in my side. I have reached out to both AIRELOOM and Sit' N Sleep but they don't seem to understand what customer service and satisfaction are nor do they care. Oh yeah, the Sit N Sleep manager said that there is a know problem with the mattress we bought and they still won't make it right. Buyer's beware.

Warranty

Purchase this mattress on 11/13/2008 and now have an impression that makes you feel like you have to roll up a hill when trying to turn over. They informed me that the test showed the mattress to be within spec. This is the test, they stretch a string across the bed from the left to right side and measure the distance from the mattress to the string. This is done in three places, next the inspector press down on the mattress to represent a person laying in bed. This is a false test because the inspector cannot get the same results as a 215 lb person laying in bed. I have been told that I must sleep like this until the mattress shows a depression of 1 1/2 inches in depression. $1342.00 spent on a piece of crap in my book. AIRELOOM does not and along with Sit'n Sleep understand what customer satisfaction is nor do they care. I have been told that this is California law on how to determine if a mattress is defected. Buyer's be aware that the first thing they look for is any type of stain on the mattress if they find one you have NO WARRANTY. Warranty from mattress company is not worth the paper they print it on.

Warranty

I live in Australia now, but have 25 years in the bedding industry, including working for the largest bed manufacturer in the Southern hemisphere, and here's a declaration, there has never been a more comfortable, longer lasting bed than 100% latex, it's that simple. latex had a bad name for heat retention in the past, but European manufacturers now make them with multiple holes top, bottom and right through the sides, they are now also topped with a natural cover which ere previously synthetic, which reduced the heat factor even more.
Conversely, spring beds have now "hotted up" because they have increased the layers so as to give a thicker sumptuous look, but have filled it with more synthetics than previously, also some use an "edge support" on the sides which is often a large chunk of foam, thereby blocking off where spring mattresses used to breathe(they were open previously) so they have actually become warmer than latex. latex also allows different body shapes, without pressing on your shoulders and hips, slowing down circulation and giving you that "achy" feeling causing you to roll over and latex supports long term as it is rubber and not a man made substance.
But beware, a lot of so called latex is not 100 % latex and you should insist on certification and hopefully a look inside the cover, . Lastly do not cover it with synthetics, like a topper etc, it's like putting a raincoat over a cotton t shirt and then complaining that cotton is hot.
