I live in North Versailles PA/15137. We had our house repossess because my husband,who was a policeman for 25 years received an injury they claim was not on the job,so we wernt receiving any money and lost our house. I called the water company when we left they said the bank had to call you can't put the water in their name. Now I'm making $700 a month from my veteran disability. I call the bank and tell them. We had to move into our tiny duplex we had nowhere to go. I couldn't keep up with bills and they turned our water off. In order for me to turn it on I had to pay $3,000 dollars because for a year and a half they left that water in my name and let it fun. I also had to pay hundreds of dollars from a tenant that used to live here. We went like 10 days without water. We had no shower,washer but worse no toilet. My son was terrified. My mom let me borrow the almost $4000.00 out of her retirement. I have no way to pay it back. But here if I'm 30 days late,my waters off. I don't understand how they let that water run with no one paying it knowing it was vacant,never calling me,then turning my water off. I have to pay my mother back and believe that money should be returned, it's the worst case of water charge abuse I've ever heard of.
If you can help,we would appreciate it. We are so far behind on everything due to our problems,I have no way to reimburse my mother who needs that money.
