Let go for unfair reasonings

I had just got let go by Amscot due to unfairness of the company demand. I was just hired a month ago and the sent me to the first week of training in their financial office building. There they gave quizzes and a fast run down of the company on what they do. I personally was overwhelmed with all of the information that was provided and I had trouble with their quizzes. I have dyslexia and I had explained to the trainer that taking these quizzes were are not my strong suit and hands on was a better way for me to learn. By the grace of God I was able to pass their one week final before moving to the next phase in the training portion. I made it to the training location they had provided for me. I had to take two local buses which I showed up on time everyday. I followed the steps as well watched and learned through each transactions how they were done. On top of more training test that needed to be completed each day of training. I was training in at the location for no more then 6 days. I thought I was getting better each time I did a transaction and started pick up the procedures. No one not even the trainer spoke to me about me being bad at money. I was never short or over my drawer and I would count out loud to the customer their money. Yesterday one of the leads said that my trainer wanted me to come in at a different time instead of my scheduled time. I still had two more days of training and I also passed my final which was also included in order to pass to the final hire. So this morning I received a phone call from my trainer telling me I will be no longer be work with company because my cash handling was wrong. I was shocked how can that even make sense. I followed all steps and procedures that I was trained to do but out of no were that said my cash handling was wrong. My drawer was never short or over. I counted out loud the right amount of money and the cash handling training was only done twice! She would give me a specific amount to count to her and I confused myself a couple of times but I would always give the right out.So I decided to call corporate and I spoke to the trainer who trained me the first week and then he transfered me to HR. And Jackie from HR said that my cash handling was not good so they no longer will continue work with me. I was speechless I had spends time and money for a job that I needed for to disregard me like I was nothing. I worked hard to a position that really was not mine. I really feel Amscot did not give me a fair chance due lack of evidence that they did not witness. I feel like the trainer personal did not like me a came up with a reason to remove me from her store.

Fraud

DO NOT get a card with Amscot, unless you'd like a zero balance where your money should be.

They won't stop fraud charges even if you notice them and address the issue while the payments are pending. You can fight it for days and they'll just approve the pending charges. Poof no money. Good luck paying those bills on time now.

Tons of paper work has been filled out. Police reports have been filed. Amscot home office has been notified. Lawyers have been consulted.

The charges on the card lead to fake websites. One charge led to an actual business, but the business had no record of the transaction at all.

If we don't receive a refund, we will begin a class action lawsuit (not an empty threat). We've noticed that we are not the only ones with a card balance being zeroed out.

I believe either Amscot has been hacked or an employee is stealing from card holders.

I felt that I was robbed and could not do anything about it

I went into the Amscott on Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando. My Cashier check was $2000.00. Brian the cashier refuse to give it back. I then ask Brian to give me back my check on many occasions, He refused each time. His supervisor said once we give the check they can not give us the check back. I said again give back my check and I take some place to cash it again they did give us our check. You have not cashed the check why can you give it to me. The supervisor with a negative attitude at this pointed to a sticker and said call the corporate. I and tire of you asking for your check. They took a told of $336 out my check. I also notice a young woman next to me camplaining about a check they were to hold until that day..but then sent to the bank on Friday..again another person asking for their check back and Amscott refusing to give theie checks back. I felt that I was robbed and could not do anything about it. I wonder if this a common practice this company?
