Cancel Membership

This is unreal, to cnacel this memebership you have to go to the post office and send them a request by certified mail, and then 30 days later they will (I sure to hell hope) cancel my memebership.

This is OBVIOUSLY a ploy to get you not to cancel, and make you go out of your way to end a memebership. This is the only thing I have EVER signed up for that has required this. I will NEVER join this club again! I was going ot cancel for 6 months and start back up. But now, no way will I ever do business with a company like this. I now have to take a lunch hour and wait on line at the post office just so Workout Anytime will get a couple more months out of me. This is messed up, and poor customer service that in the long run will put this company out of business.

30 day notice of cancellation

Had three memberships on my account frozen for almost a year because of lack of interest. In advance of the ending of the frozen period, I attempted to implement the 30 day cancellation "rule" that they have. They made a big deal, before I took the membership, to let you know that that was all I had to do to close the account. What they didn't tell me was that you had to pay up that last 30 days in order to "wait out' the time, even if your account was frozen and you were not using the facilities.
Seemed a bit underhanded to me, but maybe I should have known, and I would have just cancelled a year ago instead of being "frozen".
