Credit Card Charges I did not authorize

Discovered charges on my statement for $14.95 - going back several months. Called Audible customer service and the echo on the line was so bad, had to hang up and call again, three times before I could hear a little better. Only God knows where they are located. Really bad accents, poor English. Anyway, they wanted my credit card #, I gave it but they couldn't find it on file, so couldn't give me a credit. After I insisted I was looking at a statement with the charge, they seemed to have found it. They said I would be issued credit, but I won't know for a few weeks. All I can say is this is FRAUD. How do they get away with this?

unauthorized audible membership charges

I have been charged audible membership fees monthly for two years!!! The orders history show I did not order. They even have the new debit card number and I did not give it to them. I put bogus information for the card and the charge still went thru. The card expired this month and the charge went thru. I called, chatted and emailed audible and all say the same...they can not help because the email address on amazon/audible does not show an audible membership therefore they can not do anything, but it is still be charged!!!! I think we need to do a class action lawsuit. Anyone done that with unauthorized charges?

Fraud

It’s unbelivable. I have just finished disputing charges on one credit card and in 2 weeks again...a different credit card. Wtf how do they get away with it?

Credit Card Fraud

I was surprised to see that a company UNDER THE AMAZON.COM LOGO would engage in such fraudulent business practices. I am currently disputing FOUR MONTHS of a subscription that I do not remember signing up for. Not only that, the customer "support" at audible.com could not even find my credit card information on their computers! I am hoping that my bank will be able to successfully dispute their credit card charges over the next few months. Until then, I will spread this message to friends and family: DO NOT EVER USE AUDIBLE.COM, I AND SEVERAL HUNDRED OTHERS ONLINE HAVE LOST A LOT OF MONEY TO THIS GREEDY COMPANY!
