Worst ever

Vaal water is a small town but hell know how can thy ask 4 times the price for a part. Example a spark plug is R45 in vaal water its R 108 complain and you get it for R 70. Order parts two weeks waiting period. I am about to take my fleet orders some were else. In pretoria no problem or lepelale no problem but Mr Bertus the manager in vaalwater have no back bone and his staff is a joke almost nothing on the shelf 98% of the farmers rhather drive 100 km to get parts to save them self from the wors exp ever. Close down the shit hole your repetation whats left of it down the drain my 50k a month in parts rhater take it some were else i already lost thousends of rands because of your bad service and customer support.

no help

went in to get a battery installed Prattville auto zone.. only 2 people in the store working no customers in store but me and first off the woman I would not call her a lady because the way she acted. she was not a lady but a woman and I am being nice to call her a woman. she acted like a a_ _ but any ways she looked and said it shows it can take 30 minutes to change a battery and they did not have to do it. because they only had 2 people working. I told her it had a cover over the batter I never tried to take it off before. and she said it could take up to 30 minutes to take it off and take the battery out and they could not do it. so I waited because the man was nice he was changing a battery in another car so I went out and looked and seen that the cover just poped off just pins that pop in and out just pull ob it and it poped right off. so I went back in the store to tell the woman that could not be found. then when the man came back in the store she showed up from somewhere. any ways I told her I got the cover off it just poped right off. she was like well we still may not can take the battery out because it could take 30 minutes she was telling the man it may take 30 minutes and so I said well I got the cover off all I need is a new battery put in is all the woman was like I am talking to him .. and so I said ok I was just letting you know I got the cover off. and all I need is a battery put in. is all. she was again very rude. and the man looked at the battery had a lillte bit of acaid on the battery cable he was like we cant change it because it could break other parts I was like ok. I will go somewhere else. I went to pep boys auto and the guy there only had 2 people working he change the battery which took about 2 minutes and also a air filter and took hem about 2-3 minutes tops. he told me at pep boys we have a lot of people coming from auto zone and they say auto zone makes excuse why they cant do this or that. so if any one needs any thing go to pep boys they get in the rain and do the job and never say we cant do this or that. .. and they don't complain or make a excuse. and get the job done right. as far as auto zone goes I will never go back there again. ever for anything and they need to get someone that knows how to treat customers. the woman working today. don't know what she is doing and don't know how to trat customers, she lost my business. so anyone needs anything forget auto zone in Prattville don't waste your time go to pep boys auto and get it done right and free and fast. and friendly.

Bad service

I bought a bunch of stuff at an "Autozone" store, among other items there was a big can of freon (R-134a) for $ 29.99

When I tried to use the credit on my Autozone card the store clerk made a mistake and was not able to apply the credit to this purchase. So he made a return and rang the stuff up again. When I tried to return the big can of freon because only a little bit was missing in my A/C, the computer said "this item has already been returned". I told the clerk: "here is the can, it has not been returned, and it is brandnew, not been opened... don't you see it ? here is the receipt showing that I purchased it..."

I asked the store clerk to give me store credit instead if a refund was a big problem for them. he asked me for my driver's license, swiped it and the display said "return denied" - he printed out a slip that gave me a number for an external "return approval company". when I called this company they told me " you had another return without a receipt within the last 6 months, this is why you were not approved for store credit"

Autozone, you made my day - if you believe that you can play games with customers, not with me. Wal-Mart is cheaper, anyway and they sell Freon as well. If it is something else that I need next time it is going to be Checker or Pep Boys. I hope that this "Store credit approval company" will increase your revenue and create many, many happy customers that will happily continue to frequent your stores.

Bad service

Give you a big hint! Auto Zone PARTS STORE!! NOT Auto Zone Automotive shop!! It is a DIY store!! If you can't fix the problem yourself DON'T take your car to a parts store take it to a shop!! Would you go to a Doctor that specializes in knees if your arm hurts? Just saying common sense plays a big role, you get what you pay for FREE and what Sears CHARGED you!
