Poor Management

I have been a regular customer of the BWW in Bedford for approx. 7 years. I have never had a problem, however in the last couple of months, I have had some bad experiences, 1 where a host has said that the upstairs was closed and no one was up there, even though I pointed out to tables full of people in clear view. I spoke to Trent, the Manager and he stated that even though people were up there he did not have enough staff to handle more people up there. He went on to explain how difficult it is to hire good people, and the training program at BWW is long. I told him I didn't care for his explanations, I believe it is a Management issue, and he is apparently an extremely poor manager. Why else would he make all these excuses for me, as a customer I do not care if he is having hiring difficulties. I wound up taking a table in the bar area and all was fine. Over the next 2 weeks almost every time my wife and I would visit, Trent would stand across the restaurant and stare at us. This made my wife uncomfortable, but I told her to ignore him as he was probably upset because I told him he was a bad manager. After about 2 weeks of this we attended BWW and one of our guest went outside to speak with her daughter on the phone, as it was to loud inside for her to hear. While on the phone outside, she was spit on from guest upstairs. They also called her names, and verbally assaulted her. I found out about it and asked to speak with a manager, after 20 minutes a Manager came to the table, a red headed young female manager. I informed her that our guest was spit on and verbally assaulted. She sarcastically asked me "What do you want me to do about it!" Her tone was sarcastic and completely void of empathy, I asked her to send a manager to my table. She stated she was a manager, I told her she was no Manager. This went on a bit, before she sent over another manager, Harvey, I believe. He came over and I explained what happened, and he informed me the offending guest had been asked to leave and apologized then asked me what he could do to make fix the situation, since my guest had left to shower (the spit was Tabaco juice) I said nothing now that my guest had left, but I did appreciate the empathy and made to feel small by asking that the Management control their store. Several days later my wife went back early in February. Trent the manager came by and asked what had happened on our last visit, we had been there several times between, but I understood the incident he was referring. He again apologized, but then went on to say that I had made the Red head Manager feel threatened somehow when I asked to for another manager. He stated several time that I had been aggressive, which I never was. He continued until I had had enough and asked him to get my check, that I wished to leave. He stated that wasn't necessary, but continued to attack me. I asked him repeatable for my check, finally stating, "I have asked for my check 7 times, how many more times to I have to ask?" He then went to get my check, seeing we only had 1 beer each, and they were still full, stated they were on him. I told him "You enjoy them" and my wife and I left. He obviously had a grudge against me because I stated he was a bad manager originally, and that night was the most ridiculous thing I ever saw, he seemed to actually be trying to get me upset. If he wanted that he should have spit on me. I don't expect Buffalos to do anything, I just will not return, but I did want to inform the management about Trent's behavior as I am certain there will be follow up complaints about him from other customers in the future.
