Over billing

for the second month in a row. Century link has charged me for a free modem. These funds have been automatically taken out of my account. I keep getting credits that are never getting applied. I want to hundred percent refund for both months and not a credit. I want to hundred percent refund for both months and not a credit

This is a clear case of theft. I have recently taken action to be a part of the class action lawsuit for overbilling.

Overcharged

We are 100%disabled and on limited budget. We are cable cutters who began with century Link for internet service. Our bill has always been incorrect. When we brought it up to the manager on duty they said that they were going to credit our account$124.99, months went by and I never was credited the amount. When you call they see that the credit was put into the computer, and give a lame excuse that they were waiting for the credit to be authorized. By the time they shut off our service for unpaid amount of (surprise) $124.99 called them and was told that I was behind on my payment and to turn back on my now bundled phones and internet plus a $25.00 reconnect fee. Suddenly my credit turned into a debt. Since both my husband and I are physically disabled, we have been having a hard time getting away from CenturyLink. Our bills are $50-$60 per month higher since we were talked into bundling our phone service with our internet. Why would I have changed my services if I would be paying more, I was told by the sales rep. That bundling our services would save us $50-60 per month. But so far we haven't saved anything. In fact we are being charged more and more every month. They say credit yet it's added instead of being subtracted. I have been trying to unbundle our services for when I called the phone company we bundled with they said for what we are using, the price would be less than CenturyLink is charging us. Getting out of our contract and just keeping the internet, they want to charge us for breaking the contract. It's all a mess and they don't listen to me, and refused to refund the amount they have overcharged for the past 8 months. I am to ill and so is my husband to sit on a long wait time just to be connected to people who can't fix the problem. Living on fixed income which is barely paying our bills is hard enough, and we really need the $50-60 per month that we are overcharged, along with the credit of $124.99 that was added to the bill instead of being subtracted. As soon as possible we are going to find a way to get completely away from this rude promise breaking, lying company.

Ruined credit phone line

My name is Yoana Hristova Todorova and I am one of your customers.
I did open a phone line on date 10th February 2017.
I signed an agreement for months to month contract, 19,99$ a month, No installation free, No disconnecting charge within the first month.
The service was active for less than 5 days ! And used for less than 12 hours only incoming calls.

The landlord in the house had a mental illness so I move out the 11th of February 2017. In a few weeks i move to Tenessie,Sevierville where your company didn't offer services.

I believe I did cancelled and disconnect the service on the 12th of February 2017. When I talked on the phone with the specialist I explained that I have already moved and unfortunately I can't keep the service and I did apologized, The Costumer service assured me that she understand and there is NOTHING THAT I OWE,because I discontinue the service so fast,and it was free of charge cancellation within the 1st month . So i was sure that i don't have to pay anything.The Costumer care representative understand that I will not be present on this address,and she Repeat that there will be no bill.( And she didn't request any information regarding future address,or billing information. )
I didn't had activated account online due that I discontinue the service almost immediately.


28th May 2017 , due to the fact that I believe you are an exceptional company I did called to sign 1 year contract with Wi-Fi and phone line, and the Customer care representative told me that I am debtor! That I have outstanding balance of 84,10 cents! I didn't understand at first I believed it was the activation fee, but than she explain that I haven't paid my phone!!!
We talked to a manager, he explained and apologized about the inconvenience, said that there was a mistake and he see that actually I discontinue the service almost immediately and he said he write a note to despite it,and give me a number of National Order Help desk! Advising me to call and request someone to write an email in my behalf in order to "fix my bed credit". And he also assure me that I will receive 50$ gift card as apologize for the discomfort. The number he give was 1800 244 1111

30th of May 2017
1)st call they didn't want to escalate my call,they told me to hold and after 40 min they connect me
2)National Order Help desk,the man who answered was extremely rude person,also he was angry and frustrated, who didn't listen at all what I was saying, he said:"I am here and I decide! You must pay! How there you,I am going to charge you for the installation! " I did request him to listen my problem before doing anything on my behalf, but he said he will do what he wants because I called him!Not only but I requested him Not do do anything on my account, that is against my will, but he insisted that he will do some charged there! I hung up the phone.

3)i called write after I wait for about 40 minutes, to talk to another person, who tell me that she can not find any debts on my name or address or social security, so she said that if I haven't received anything bill I am not supposed to worry about anything. That she can't see anything on my name except the pending activation service.
4) Another call insured me that I must call another department and give me this number, then they just put me on hold,during which they hung up on me. The number that here they advice me to call was 1 800 423 8994 , tell me that I must take the option 2.
But the Costumer care representative said that she will try to help me, and she disconnect.

5)Then I called again in the afternoon and I speak with another "specialist", whom informed me that I have been reimburse today with 37$, but I still owe money! I try to explain her that the problem is that you didn't send me a bill, but actually tell me that I don't owe you anything and than I find out by chance that you ruined my credit. She said she understand and she said she will transfer me to a specialist who is able to help me.
6)After another long wait, I find out that I was transferred to another Costumer care representative, whom was also unstable to see much about my account,but was very polite man who explain me in detail that non of the Costumer care representative have fiscally the power to go in my account using my social security and make any changes.

So here I am complaining about
1) Incorrect information, I signed an agreement that seams that it does change with time, and no one bother to inform me.
2) Century link costumer care informed me that I don't owe anything, why suddenly you decide to charge me?
3) why no one informed me that I owe money, your company had my cell phone number?
Here is the 3 main points that has been violated!

Cancellation.
Abuse of plan
Transparency


All this is incorrect, and you have the registration of the calls coming from my cellphone 303 709 9205.
I am requesting that you listen the recorded calls and clear my credit.
I do believe also that this is unjustified action against me, that unfairly ruined my credit so I believe the minimum you can do is NOT CHARGING ME ANYTHING for few days I had the line active, and clear my credit Reputation!

I will like to add that I HAVEN`T Received ANY bill, not any information regarding that i owe something, just randomly find out when i called to activate another service
