Please do not join project INGVYSYA. I had very bad experience with INGVYSYA Project since manager are like school teacher they will notice the number of times you r taking break even you not have work. This is the worst project in Cognizant

I am working for Cognizant. I am also from the team called Orbitz. I advice people in Cognizant to be cognizant of the Orbitz team and please do not join this team. It's a team with 100+ members. The manager of this team, Deivasigamani Reguraman, will never consider you as a human being. He never allows people in his team to take leave. He monitors each and everyone like a College HOD (this is what his previous profession was). He still thinks he is in a college and wants everyone of the team members to be under his control. After office hours, we should be ready to take up extra works not related to project. Actually he expects us to work from 9 to 6 and after that should take up extra work and he says only when we do extra work, he may recommend us for any promotions / onside opportunities... This is the real thing happening in the project. We will never get a recognition for the good work unless we do some extra personal works for him. Only his 'Trusted Lieutenants' will get every opportunity. I think even his direct boss, The director is afraid of him. Otherwise atkease he would have advised him. He never listens to people and he never behaves like a human being.

"As per a latest survey on Worst Companies to work with in India, Cognizant is in 4th Place. The Survey says that " COGNIZANT IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY TO WORK. THE REASON IS HEAVY WORK LOAD. ALSO THE SURVEY STATES THAT THERE WAS A WALK-IN FROM HCL TECHNOLOGIES. CAN YOU BELIEVE AROUND 50 EMPLOYEES ATTENDED THE INTERVIEW ARE FROM COGNIZANT. THE SURVEY ALSO MENTIONS THAT NO ONE IS HAPPY IN THIS COMPANY" So please DON'T JOIN BANGALORE COGNIZANT AND IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY DO SO PLEASE DON'T JOIN THE GREAT PROJECT ORBITZ.

I am not from Tamilnadu, and my manager is tamil, he is always in a favour of tamil coleuge even they do whatever they want, they talk in tamil on call and infront of non tamilinas, they dont share the knowledge.
THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSITIONAL, I AM PUTTING BEST MY EFFORT BUT INVAIN.

I'm working for Cognizant Technology Solutions for the past 6 months. I'm handling a client called Orbitz. I'm reporting to a Manager called Deivasigamani. Last week I got a offer from Samsung India Limited. In Samsung I will be getting twice the pay of what I'm getting in Cognizant Technology Solutions. They offered me last week and asked me to join June 15th since there is a training for freshers which is commencing on the same day. But Cognizant Technology Solutions was not ready to relieve me from my duties and also they are not even ready to accept my notice pay as well. I was under a complete mental tension and stressed because of these act of my Manager. During my last 6 months of experience I had a very bad experience with my Manager Deivasigamani who was earlier working with some educational institution. He treat his team members like his students and to get a promotion we need to work like bonded labor as well as we need to be there in office all the days even Saturday and Sunday to take care of all his jobs etc. He himself admitted in front of everybody unless until if we are not satisfying him we don't get promotions or good rating in appraisal. Which leads to lot of resignations in Cognizant Orbitz team. And in India Cognizant Bangalore is having the highest rate of attrition rate due to these kind of managers. If you ask for any favor you can hear if you are not happy please resign apart from these line probably you won't hear anything. I heard our COO Francisco D'Souza is also aware of this issue and couldn't do anything about this managers. So who ever joining Cognizant Bangalore please be aware of this crap managers.

Cognizant is really a blood sucking company. Manager does not care about client appreciations and excellence at the assigned duties. The Tamil Brahmin manager is so cunning and I don't know how these guys learn this much cunningness. They favor Tamil guys ( after Tamil guys, the prefer Tamil speaking guys ) at promotion time even though they don't work well. My advice to young and aspiring guys that not to waste your precious time in this kind of junk company. Build your dreams elsewhere. Before joining Cognizant, I worked in a very good company and I still cherish my good memories of that company. I am repenting now on my decision of leaving my past company, just for raise in salary and not inquiring about the Cognizant's work culture. In Cognizant, my manager does not regard my experience, my track record, appreciation from the client etc. He just disregards all the good things and shouts at me for not coming to office to work on weekend (I worked on many weekends, but he ignores that and shouts at me if I miss a weekend because of some personal cause). Also remember that I won't be paid for the weekend's effort and the manager tells that I can take comp-off. But when it comes to really taking the comp-off, the manager says dozen reasons why he cannot give comp-off. I really hate Cognizant and looking for an opportunity to kick the ass of Cognizant (especially my crook Tamil Brahmin manager). I thank God for teaching a good lesson that not only look for salary and also inquire abt work culture before joining a company.
