Comcast Fraudulent Equipment Charges

As a new customer, two pieces of equipment (tv boxes) were erroneously connected to my account. Pay per view movies and purchases were then charged to my account with equipment that does not exist in my home. Then additional channels were added to my account through the same equipment (including Playboy, which I find to be repulsive).

I have now spent hours on the phone (most of which being placed on hold) with Customer Service to try to fix the errors. My change from U-verse has been horrible. Including an installation that took 3 separate visits and required my missing many hours of work.

Comcast is requesting that I provide them with a receipt for the equipment that I have never had... wow.

Pricing programs and faulty billing

I have heard that if you have an issue with, their customer service organization is rightfully categorized as the "Hall of Shame"! We agreed in November to change my monthly billing rate and it is now almost Feb. and I am still trying to get my bill corrected! When you call them, you are on hold for up to 30 minutes each time - and the "agents"don't seem to know what they are doing - and each of them seems to have a different story - and assure you they can correct your issue. I have almost 7 hours of time, over many calls and internet chats involved in this one change. If I had a good option, I would leave Comcast for another vendor.
