Account closure

I paid up my account on Monday 13 November 2023 and then contacted Edgar's to close/cancel the account. The consultant promised me that I will get a call from you Edgar's within 24 hours. But nothing heppened so far.

Account blocked

I hereby lay a complaint regarding my Edgar's account which has been blocked and that I cannot do anything about it which leaves me useless. I just called Edgar's customer services to enquire about the situation and the agent was not helpful at all . I really hate the fact on how it has been handled and I do work for a financial services where we help our customers with situations like this. I cannot not open an account with Jets either which is totally unfair because I got no options to do anything about it . If the matter won't be solved I'll take it the matter further .

Unresolved account

I hereby write out of options now ,hoping for intervention for unfair treatment plus loss of credit score based on Edgar's ignorance to my account which I settled last year November BT still they insist on demanding payments .no matter how regular I visit the shop and explain my situation they all keep saying it will resolved but until now nothing has materialized .please can the complaining board intervene on my behalf .

Fraud

Hi

We need urgent assistant.

I'm writing on behalf of my brother.

He has an account with Edgar's, and this afternoon he received a call from Edgar's Melrose Arch from their sales assistant because:
There was a man at the shop who had my brother ID (which is fake because my brother has never lost his ID and it was actually safe at home), the guy said he is Mr Mkhabela and he wants to buy a phone and then the sales assistant pulled up the profile and contacted the number on the profile to confirm if it was the account holder.....

My brother then confirmed that he is not at Edgar's and he has not sent anyone to buy anything on his account and noone had his ID. The consultant then inform my brother that they will have to call the cops and they will call my brother to update him...

An hour later my brother phoned the sales assistant to find out, and only then he was told that the cops came and released the guy, they set him free,.. On the bases that the guy didn't succeed to commit this fraud and the was on evidence that this isn't the real Mkhabela...
I'm shocked. What more evidence was needed??? Edgar's had the responsibility to day there's enough evidence.
1.A fraudster walked into their institution with the intention to commit s crime.
2. The consultant spoke to my brother and my brother confirmed that he's the account holder.
3. A fraudster walked into Edgar's with s fake ID
But Edgar's agrees that the cops must let this guy go???

My concern is how many more of my brother fake ID's does this guy have? How many more people have been defrauded by this guy who was set free?

Does this make sense????? My brother identity has been stolen Edgar's is in possession of a fake ID . My brother is left here wondering what happens next?

Can someone investigate please!!!!!!
