Delayed luggage and damage to luggage

I traveled on board flight EK766 on 31 August 2016 on my way from Windhoek (SW729). I transitted via Dubai on board flight EK514 to New Delhi. On arrival in New Delhi on 1 September 2016 my luggage was missing. I was scheduled to fly out the next day to Hyderabad as I was attending official meetings in several states in India (Jaipur, Ahmadabad, Udaipur, etc).
The luggage was only delivered on the 4th of September 2016 while in Ahmadabad. Being without my luggage I had to purchase some clothing to be able to look presentable. In addition I had to consult a medical doctor to assist in prescribing my routine medication which I had packed in the luggage.

When my luggage finally arrived on the 4th of September in Admadabad the suitcase was damaged. Since this is a brand new suitcase that I bought just before embarking on this trip I request that it be replaced.
I also request that Emirates compensate me for the inconvenience of staying without my luggage that resulted in me having to purchase clothing items which I otherwise would not have done.

I therefore attach herewith copies of invoices for medical and clothing expenses as well as a photograph of the damaged suitcase as proof of such claim.
The total value of this claim is Rs 40,204.55.

My email where I can be reached is [email protected] The local cell number in Delhi is +91 7042347688
I am scheduled to fly back on the 14th September and wish for the matter to be attended to as soon as possible.

Kind regards

Unfair charge in the name of extra baggage.

Ticket reference number - 1769693920230 - Mombasa, Nairobi - Ahmedabad - Mombasa (Kenya)

My son had travelled with the above ticket reference from Ahmedabad to Mombasa on 3rd Jan'16. He had a confirmation from Emirates office (Miss Charity Mumbi- Senior Customer Sales & Service Agent- Emirates , Nairobi) that he is allowed to carry 40 Kgs baggage per passenger .. However, when he checked at Ahmedabad Airport, the ground staff surprisingly denied to have any information about the same and insisted that he pay for "extra luggage". Not only this, he was kept waiting at the check-in counter for almost an hour before they could give him a decision that they want him to pay before he can board the flight. He had shared the copy of the email from Emirates Reservation Office, Nairobi , but they mentioned that the same was not appearing in their system and hence they cant allow me to carry 40 Kgs. He had to then pay INR 48,668 to them at the airport (which is about USD 750) for the `extra' 20 kg luggage.

On his return to Mombasa, the matter was taken up with the Emirates Offices, both at Nairobi and India. But they flatly and bluntly refused to own any responsibility and we do not know now how to deal with the Airline to make them refund the amount arbitrarily and wrongly collected. Kindly advise. P.C. LACK OF SERVICE

I would like to make a complaint against Emirates Airlines which we had assumed to be the best airline considering other people's feedback. We have just completed our travel from India to Dubai via Emirates economy class where the flight was good. Our connection from Dubai to Los Angeles was however an ordeal. On this 16 hour flight the service was atrocious ! The baby bassinet was requested before the food could be served but nothing happened, the crew went ahead and served us before bringing the bassinet as a result i had to balance my tray on top of my baby and some how managed to finish my meal and still there was no assistance from the crews side to clear my tray, this is not what we expect from one of the leading airlines. We had no option but wait until another flight attendant was reminded about the bassinet and then it arrived after one hour. After the bassinet arrived, we requested for baby food, that again took almost 45 minutes to appear, since it was a 16 hour flight we needed more baby food so i eventually got up myself and went to the galley to get the baby food, if we are going to tend for own services i don't know why we have crew on board for us, then to add to our so called EXCELLENT SERVICES we were given, One of the air hostesses was requested for hot water to make the child's milk, she topples it all over the aisle seat luckily it did not fall on the child, as i was seated on the window seat but she in turn got scalded. Finally before we could deplane at LA we were not given the customs declaration form and had to, with a 9 months old baby, have to leave the immigration clearance line, fill the form and re-enter the line. The staff on board were completely unhelpful and not becoming of Emirates. I feel that on board assistance for parents traveling with infants should be given as top priority and in this regard, your crew need upgrading or else Emirates is going to lose a lot of customers. We are scheduled to fly back at the end of April and hope that there is no recurrence of such incidents and hope that the crew are more helpful.

LACK OF SERVICE

lol. indians... always the same. noone except you and your wife will care for your offsprings onboard. the crew were there to take you safely from point A to point B to assist you in case of emergency landing or a medical situation that might require basic help on their part. all baby bottles, baby food, milk and whatnot you have to carry by yourself as a responsible parent! know this and never be rude to someone on whom your life might depend and who serves your food! otherwise you will not even notice a spit in your meal, trust me I know what i am talking about.
