I travelled on the flights EK655 Colombo-Dubai on Sunday 25th of February and EK027 Dubai-Glasgow on Monday 26th and got food poisoning, showing symptoms of acute diarrhea a few hours after arriving to Glasgow, this is still as bad and painful now, 3 days later. I suspect the food on the plain to be the cause with little doubt as I travelled with my partner and we had identical meals for the whole day before the flight and after landing. On the plain however, I had strictly vegetarian meals while he had regular meals. I got sick, he did not. This is also the nastiest food poisoning I've ever experienced. I am no longer willing to fly with emirate seen the amounts of complaints on this serious matter.

I travelled from Dar Es Salaam to Dubai on Flight EK726 on Wednesday June 17th 2015. I ate a meal of braised lamb and pilau rice on that flight. By the time I boarded my connecting flight to Manchester at 3am, flight EK021, I was acutely ill with diarrhoea. I suffered several bouts on that flight and am still having it three days later. I will be going to my doctor tomorrow and having my stool tested. Once I know what infection I have I will let you know. I will be very loath to fly Emirates again after this and would advise that they make sure that their cooking and hand washing procedures be more stringent!
