ancore package

I wanted to become a Marriott vacation club member, but everything I've experienced has been a problem. My wife, my special needs daughter and myself go to Marriott in myrtle beach the last 3 or 4 years. we buy the package every year. last year they gave us the time 5 nights at myrtle beach + a cruise. Well when I went to book the cruise, now I paid over 2,000. + dollars for this package. I found myself with an additional 500.00 per person + in charges. I'm sorry what was such a deal. when we go to myrtle we ask for a specific room well in advance because its much easier with my daughter. Every time its a problem. Also we always stay longer than the 65 days. And its nothing short of a act of god to get to keep the room and stay 2or3 days longer. The 1st time we did it we got the extra days at a discounted rate and kept the same room. Since then its imposible. My brother has a lot of Marriott and I thought I would buy some, after my experiences I just can't. I am very disappointed.

Unhappy with service

This morning i was c­ontacted by someone f­rom your resort. Im u­nhappy with there man­ner, ive just returne­d from fiji where i s­tayed at the Marriott­ there, and after the­ young man informed m­e i can't attend a se­minar and a three day­ stay and i quote bec­ause ive not my own h­ome. However I am sta­ying there for the go­ldcoast 600 this year­ i may now change my ­mind, I will add howe­ver ive not my own pr­operty as im looking ­but he was not intere­sted and said i do no­t meet the criteria i­m very unimpressed wi­th this service.

no consideration

On 11-11-16 we talked to a Marriott salesman at the Chateau in Las Vegas about buying an encore contract. We told him we wanted a place to stay in Vail Colorado with our family on 6-13,14,15,and 16 2016 , before we were going to an all family reunion in Boulder Colo on 6-17,18,& 19-16. The salesman never told us his name, only told us he was a college wrestler, He then told us that Marriott had an encore contract for us for $1,195.00 which we could buy and which would provide us with a suite of rooms in Vail which would sleep 12 people, about the number of our immediate family. We told him we only wanted this for those June dates and he told us that we would have them then, and told us the reservation phone number. When we got back home in Bettendorf Iowa we called the Vail reservation people and told them we wanted reservations for 12 for June 13 thru June 16,2016, as we were promised and told them we had signed a Marriott Vacation Club International Encore Membership Agreement, Encore Lead #326385
for that reservation. We were told that There were no rooms available at the Vail Marriott Ritz facility on those dates and that in fact their hotel was booked full throughout the entire year 2016. They also told us that they had no rooms or suites which would sleep 12, but at best, 8. I have called the Marriott Chateau sales off at least 12 times since 12-23-15, and got only an answer machine, and I always left my name Phone number and message. I never received a call back or any other communication. Finally on 1-4-16 I sent a letter by priority mail to them and to Marriott's Administrative office in Orlando. No response. We finally cancelled the rest of the contract, but we have paid $295.00 for nothing except misery, and want to be reimbused in that amount.
