Unprofessional and untrained owners/unfair to employees

I am currently in the beginning of being licensed. While a few of the people in the office are professional, most are not. I will be switching companies after we are fully licensed next month. I feel that we covered all of the required information in training, and we did all of the background checks, but they are certainly not the loving, caring people that they pretended to be in the training. We often don't hear from them for days, even when we have sent questions. The owner can't be bothered to answer emails unless you are offering to volunteer. I was so excited when we started, but I have lost most of that fire. If I had not put so much money into this process i would start over with another place in a New York second. I may do that anyway if I continue to be back burnered.

Unprofessional and untrained owners/unfair to employees

This is the worst place I have ever worked. Once hired, I found out from other staff members, most of whom had only been there a couple months, that 3 employees had just been fired before I got there. I also found out from foster parents that I should "be careful, because they will fire you in a heart beat." The owners are unprofessional, unkind to their employees and they put on a fake exterior in order to lure in unexpecting employees and foster parents. I know from personal contacts that in the last year the entire office has been replaced, either because of persons getting fired or quitting due to the horrible atmosphere. This place barely meets Social Services standards, and almost got shut down when I worked there due to information missing, etc... There is so much more I could say, but I highly recommend going elsewhere if you are interested in adopting.

Unprofessional and untrained owners/unfair to employees

First off let me start off with the positives of this agency!! The ED I believe has a great love and passion for these children. I also believe the ED is a wonderful at media and marketing. However, I cannot say I would recommend this agency to anyone. We started at this agency roughly in August 2011 timeframe. This was getting paperwork to them and training. In November we were licensed. We left the agency in Feburary. Within that timeframe the turnover rate is excatly as all the post of indicated above-outrageous!!! I believe that running an agency you will have some turnover but within that timeframe is undeniably questionable. People that have left (umm...reallly) or fired I have heard great things from people that have worked with them in the CPS and social work field. Before we begin with Family Link we read these post and should have taken them seriously. However, we too believed the post were not legit. These people that have worked there I do believe have not just left. Yes maybe some of them but not all. People going through this don't need the unstable enviroment that I believe Family Link offers. It is also amazing how you are specific with what you want and they totally seem to ignore what you have expressed. They are so eager to call you with things you have explained over and over you are not looking for. What is the point of all the extensive questionairres if you are not using them. Really. I don't for once think the job they have is easy but that is the business you choose to go into. I think the idea of Legacy ranch is good but if you have so many inconsitents and turnovers in the basic foundation shouldn't that be fixed first? There are many there working with the right heart but I feel for those that do because the unstable environment has to be stressful. NO agency is perfect but this is not an agency I would recommend right now. And if I would have taken these comments seriously I would have probably choose the right agency. One comment posted was about stats and that is true of the agency as it came from Texas Department of Protective Services. However, the unstable working environment is not good for the employees or the families they serve. With that many turnovers in that time span what is the mgmt team doing and what is thier focus??
