I having using the First Gulf Credit Card from two years now. On Jan 2014 bank statement, i have to pay AED 16102.73 as per the statement dated on 25/01/2014 and my card was blocked. FGB Collection Centre call me and ask to make the payment otherwise it will be given for a legal action.

So I call the bank FGB customer care to cancel my credit card and ask for the final payment, As per the information provided there is no records / official document (FORMS or Email) for cancelling the FGB credit cards. They told me, you have to call the customer care to cancel the FGB credit card after paying the total payment including fines still the date.

So i took a personnel Loan from another bank to pay the above FGB Credit Card payment. I call FGB customer care and they told me to pay AED 16330 for cancelling my credit card still the date (10/02/2014). So i did the payment and call the FGB customer care to cancel the my credit card.

But in Feb 2014, the statement showing AED 34.07 more to pay as per the statement date on 25/02/2014. When i call the customer care they told me it will be cancelled no issues.

From March 2014 statement they started late payment fees of AED 189 until last statement. Now the final amount is AED 1125.13 as per the last statement on 25/05/2014 including four late payment fees, bank finance charges and annual fee of AED 500 in the month of May 2014.

Please advice me, how solve the issues and is their any official document or procedure for cancelling the FGB Credit Cards. Now after paying all the payment and fines as per the instruction from the FGB customer care, they are now asking to pay again without using the credit card and its blocked form Nov 2014 to until now.

I am not in a situation to make such payment now because already i have other personnel loan and EMI . So please do the needful to help me for this.
