defective item no receipt

After the horrible customer service I received during the holidays I too will never spend anymore of my hard earned money there. I understand having a return policy but this place takes it overboard. I really don't understand how they stay in business.

defective item no receipt

On Black Friday I went to Garden Ridge and purchased over $200 wroth of items. We did not need an outdoor extension cord we purchased and a singing dancing Christmas moose for my 5 year old son stopped working after 2 days. Went to the counter and could not find my receipt. The cashier said I could not return anything without a receipt. So I asked could I just exchange the cord for something else and since my son really liked the moose could I check to see if they had another one to exchange for the broken one and I was told no. I asked for the manager and was told the same thing. I preceded to say I understand about the moose it was out of the package but the cord was unopened could I just exchange it for something else and was told no very rudely. I lost about $45 and they lost a customer for good. I understand the purpose of a policy but some times rules have to be flexible.

defective item no receipt

i paid 30.00 dol for a comforter set set it was to have been half off i didn't keep the receipt but i did have my bank statement showing i spent 15.00 dols i had it on my bed 2 days the sheets have torn the pillow cases just fell apart.i asked for store credit and they wont even do that, i will never spent another penny there.i also work for one ofn the largest companies in the USA and i will tell everyone that will listen what they did to me

defective item no receipt

on Feb 13th 2912 i bought a comforter set from garden ridge it was 30.00 half off, i got home and put it on my bed after
two days the sheets just tore, the pillow cases fell apart i went back to them on the 20th i didn't have the receipt but did have my bank statement they wouldn't Even give me store credit i will never spend another dollar in that store.in also work for one of the largest finance company in the us i will tell everyone that will listen about this
