I paid for a recliner Feb. 19 that the salesperson said was in stock and would be delivered the following week. Feb. 21 Gardner White cashes my check and receives funds from my account. Feb. 26 I call the canton, MI location and speak with the salesperson who sold me the chair " JAS " I ask her where the chair is she says "don't know, I don't get paid till the chair is delivered to their store. WHAT?! The same day I spoke with the canton, MI store manager and he tells me that the chair "should" be delivered the first week of March. Feb. 27th I call corp. HQ and speak with Jeff the customer service manager and explained my situation and he informs me that the chair that was supposedly in stock is actually on back order and "should" be delivered the first week of March but can't guarantee it. I told him I was not happy with how I was being treated and I wanted to speak with someone who would help me, he tells me there is no one but him. I told him that Gardner White would be losing a long standing customer and he told me he would be happy to cancel my chair order, which I did. Gardner White will not process my refund for 14 days although they have had my funds since Feb. 21st.
I went to Art Van and purchased a recliner and as promised to all the Gardner White personnel who I spoke with, they HAVE lost another customer for good and I will discourage anyone from purchasing anything from Gardner White.
You people know exactly who I am and if you want to talk to me you know how to reach me.
I can't wait to hear your BS explanation to the public of how this is some how my fault.
