rude&unprofessional employee

arriving at great clips at 8am. on 6-27 myself & another gentleman were let in by Lynn. the other stylist-Dawn was counting her drawer. As Lynn offered the other gentleman a chair Dawn "barked out"-Donot sit in that seat until i check you in!!! We were all stunned! She continued giving us all dirty looks instead of completing her counting. The other gentleman walked out! I sat in Lynn:s chair while Dawn carried on in an angry unprofessional manner. I would have not let her cut my hair!! I have never seen behavior like that from anyone else in that salon-or anywhere that customer service dictates income. Hopefully this can be resolved. I reallr dont want to find another salon! Thanks for your time. The salon is located at 8660 Gladiolus Dr. Ste. 104--Ft.Myers ;Fla. 33908

FRANCHISES ARE A JOKE?

I am an articulate, well seasoned, professional stylist. I chose to work for your company because of your training classes. Little did I know the unprofessionalism of the owner, management and stylists would be this ridiculous. The salon I worked for set me up to make it looked like I quit and then blocked my employment through your company through unemployment.

It is ok if they don't like me, and wanted me out of their establishment, but its something else to lie and belittle me for what I brought to that company, all of the insecurities because the truth made their blood boil. Yes the truth that I was the element your shop needed to start positive change. I upped the game when it came to updated styles, trendy haircuts, high product sales and personality. We all know when someone comes in with different skills its a problem.This was considered a chop shop before I came. GC even hired using me as a template. You all loved me when you didn't have enough stylist but when you became fully staffed you tried to push me out.

I am a humble person that enjoyed working there on a part time basis. I had a full time clientele which they didn't want me to have. Your company needs a corporate HR that is neutral to solve issues because the owners know nothing about this type of business and hire management who are obsessed with power and control. They do whatever they want to you. Especially if you are of color.

If you won't remedy this situation please do not comment telling me to call 800-473-2825, I already have that is why the third paragraph states the HR issue.

Unjust

As a stylist of 17 + ...I have never seen so much unprofessionalism in my life . I've worked for a few different stores and the "business owners" no Nothing about business being a certified business major I know what the whole aspect is. These owners run these stores like slavery by another name and Great Clips I disagree with the price and quality of a cut when the requirements include a 16 min haircut that's a false service in it's self. Working with well experienced Cosmetologist/Barbers a quality cut is 20min greater even if it's a buzz in the fact of every client is different. The Corporation from my experience train the Franchisee​ who Only knows business to treat employees as just a robotic job ...a lot of these owners don't care about the well being of Thier staff because as I heard from a franchisee mouth this is a business where anyone can get a position, I couldn't believe what I had just heard . They hire anyone just to get them numbers and report to the Umbrella. These owners use Thier position as a owner to a militant mind frame.
Get them in get them out ...I've seen racism prejudice un ethical behavior and so much more ...it's all about the coin at the end of the day ...I will not speak for every client but no one wants these clients because Thier cheap any way this company just provides a cheap cut for a cheap price for a poor person and that's a fact. It's funny because I've had very wealthy people come in and get a cheap cut because thats how they stay rich that's a fact. Great Clips should be used for what it is a corporate job in a CORPORATE world ! Great clips Corporate needs an evaluation on how they do business whether being LLC or not . I've lost a great deal of people because I kept leaving under stressful events in the business . All Great Clips cares about is numbers and that's a fact and a lot of these franchisee monopolize and are getting away with it through passing the business to a family member . If your not educated nor know legal education these owners will run all over you it's a lot of fuckery that goes on and the kicker is they are the highest number salon in the United states . Dear Great Clips I suggest you evaluate your buyers more closely and send some secret shopper in on a regular. As long as there poor people there will be Great Clips 😉

Fellow stylist (asst manager)

She was making snide comments. Then decided to come into the break room yelling in my face. She followed me out to the front and kept yelling infront of clients. Quality
