Great West Funding

GWF is nothing but a rip- off. I sent them $2175 and have not heard anything from them until 2 weeks ago asking for more money. They asked me to wire them money to a Bank of America in FL. They also seems to have changed there name to First Decision. So please beware of this scam. I have contacted everybody i could think of and no one can do anything. I gave the Attorney general the company bank information and ask them to at least freeze the account and they stated they couldn't do that. They also stated that the company would just change their name again and start the scam all over again. So it looks like we just lost our hard earned money.

Great West Funding

I too was contacted by "Great West Funding". I was naive enough to send them $2,175 to cover title search and other fees. I was told they had a buyer for my resort, willing to pay $19,500 (2-times more than I would have sold it for). After a long period of no contact and nothing in writing, they now want me to send them $2,256.18 for the sales tax and they will send me my check, overnight express for over $19,500 plus the $2,175 I initially sent them. I contacted the BBB, but there is not much they can do. They contacted Great West, but Great West did not respond. I just can't send them more money and HOPE I will get a check that will clear the bank.

Great West Funding

Anyone that has been scammed by Great West Funding should go to www.ic3.gov and file a complaint with the FBI. I also filed with the Attorney Generals office in AZ and with the Better Business Bureau. So please if you've be ripped of by these crooks stand up for yourself for others that have been victimized or that will be victimized. I personally feel violated. I spoke to them explained my situation, they sympathized with me and calmed and told me not to worry and they "promised" me that my timeshare would sell. Sure I was naive (although I did lots of research) but what kind of people are these. They need to feel some comsequences for all the people they've hurt.

scamed by great west

I was contacted in Feb 2012 about having a buyer for our timeshare. O f course I fell for it hook line and sinker I wanted to get rid of this timeshare in Fl. I sent them 2175.00 now they want 2599.00 more for fl taxes. I have sold properties I never had to pay anything up front it was taken out of the proceeds from the sales. I am so mad they said the check is there just waiting for me to do a wire transfer for the taxes. I am not doing this . This is the 3rd company that has scamed me . I advise anyone do not buy timeshares you will have them till the day you die. I wish I could get some help to put these companies out of business.

Great West Funding

This company (like others) call you and say that they have a buyer for your time share. They said that they are not a real estate broker and they simply handle the paperwork of the sale. They explained that they get the buyer referrals from banks that have already preapproved them so they just make the calls to sellers and make the offers. I was very skeptical and I did my research online but found no complaints against the company. I had my attorney review the sales agreement. The sales rep ad GWF even called my lawyer back and answered his questions which immediatley made us more comfortable. The fact that I was contacted by a few different people also made me feel more comfortable. They even had personal conversations with me. I feel very naive and stupid for falling for it especially when I'm usuaully so suspicious about everything but apparently my desire to get rid of my time share took over and I wanted to believe it so bad that I fell for it. Of course now I find all these complaints that were not there a month or 2 ago when I was researcing it. After reading some of those stories and complaints I want more then ever to do something that will make them accountable for turning some of us who are trusting, honest hard working people into poor, pathetic saps that fell victim to their scam. The fact that they were so personable and convicing bothers me even more. I explained my situtation to them and they were so kind and told me to trust them and they promised me that it wasn't a scam. They were never pushy or aggressive about any of it. Even more frustrating!! Something has to be done about this.

Buyer Wating Scam

This company will call you out of the blue and tell you they have a buyer for your Timeshare
all you need to do is come up with 2, 000 or as much as they can get. Fist of all the buyer pays for the closing not the seller! They will tell you it will close in 30 to 60 days and it will never go to closing and you never get your money back. This company is a complete SCAM!

Buyer Wating Scam

Well what can I do if I think this company has ripped me off. I paid to have my time share sold and now they seem to have disappeared. I would like to be part of a law suit or just know what my options are.
