I went to file my taxes and was very excited because the company told me that it was a guaranteed that I would be approved for an Emerald card to receive some of my refund very quickly. They told me if I didn't have any student loans I would most likely be approved.Well I left the company and I got a text 30 mins. after I left and it said I was denied by the Bank and I called the company and actually went up there in person and told me they can't cancel my tax return or refund me $236.00. This company never told me that your credit has to be decent at all! I usually file my taxes online and will never go to this company again to file my taxes again! I filed a complaint but cannot get refunded because the office is under separate management and they are the ones that will refund you. I called the office and she told me that 20% get denied and I told her that is a lot of money you are taking from hard working families and individuals and she said we had a meeting about this issue before tax season. I told her you should post up a sign stating if you have bad credit the emerald card is not something you should consider and she never replied back. I got ripped off and calling the Better Business Bureau. So sad that these companies get away with this! I could of used the $236.00 to help with my sons college or buy food that we do not have or rent I am paying and behind on and I can go on and on.

I filed my tax 2015-16 from H&R block in Feb 2016. My w2 was not corrected, taxes was not deducted to City of Philadelphia for last year by company . They filed my tax return for federal, State ( PA & NJ) calculate my refund, ask me to deposit 3200 USD to City of Philadelphia manually and charge me 320 USD. I got my refund for federal and never got my refund for states.

First Mistake from H& R block Cherry Hill Branch:- why they asked me to deposit 3200 USD to City of Philadelphia manually and they need to suggest me to correct my w-2??

After six months, have visited branch many times, there is no response to me by H& R block.

After that H& R Wayne Branch suggested me to correct w-2 & I have corrected by W-2 from my company and they deposited 3523 USD to City of Philadelphia with annual amendment from ADP. Now My company deducted pending taxes from my salary again as adjustment between NJ and City of Philadelphia amount for 400 USD.

For last 3 weeks, H& R Wayne branch was saying that there are not getting any response from City of Philadelphia and usually it takes 3 months to get response. After that I called City of Philadelphia at 04:30 PM and got response immediately for further process how to get my refund back. They will sent me form for amended return and amended petition to fill and send to them.
This is so simple.

My frustration is that why they had suggested me to deposit 3200 USD to City of Philadelphia and no response for six months. Now they do not know how to get refund from City of Philadelphia as per Wayne 07470 branch. This is totally wastage of my time and money.

I escalate customer care many times but not response & case numbers are:- 409306, 1290891
as on date, I never got single response from then via phone or email.

I want my fees 320 USD back immediately.
