I went to the Hair Cuttery in the Fox Mill Shopping Center in Reston, VA.
Giau was the stylist.
I brought a photo of the kind of cut I wanted, which was short all around and very basic.
She and the other Asian stylists were all chattering in their language ( I really think it's rude that these people do that by the way) and I was told a particular stylist was going to cut my hair but the after the loud animated chattering in their language, they ended up having that stylist Giau, cut my hair. She seems hesitant but I didn't really believe they would have an inexperienced stylist cutting anyone's hair.
When she finished she had blow dried it and used a lot of hair products especially mousse. It loomed ok, I wasn't exactly sure at first but it looked ok. She had it all styled and fluffed up. However a day later when I washed my hair, it was then that I got a better look at what she did. This lousy, stylist butchered my hair. She had it all chopped, butchered and hair was going in odd directions and it was a horrible mess. I will NOT EVER go to any Hair Cuttery again. Take my advice, stay CLEAR AWAY from Hair Cuttery salons, especially the Fox Mill Ctr Reston, VA salon and stay clear of a stylist named Giau. She DOES NOT know what in the heck she is doing. She just butchers hair. I will have to wait a month or so and go elsewhere in the hopes that a competent stylist will be able to fix it. What a mess. I'm petrified to go anywhere, my hair looks hideous. Whatever you do DON'T GO to Reston Fox Mill Hair Cuttery. Waste of money. And they are incompetent. Giau really should not be cutting hair. Stay away from Giau.
