I went to Hardees Fast Food Restaurant this morning for breakfast and ordered a #4. This was a Sausage, egg and cheese biscuit combination with a sweet tea. I have done this on numerous occasions. And today as has happened on many other occasions in the past, I paid for the meal, received my drink, and was IMMEDIATELY asked to "DRIVE UP PAST THE WHITE LINE." Now I looked behind me as I always do and there was no one behind me. I stayed where I was. The individual again came to the window and repeated, "WOULD YOU DRIVE PAST THE WHITE LINE?" When I asked her why, when it was apparent that there was no one in the line behind me and this was a fast food restaurant, and I was awaiting "FAST FOOD" ... why dd I have to pull past the "WHITE LINE"... She stated..."We are on a timer...!" I suggest to you at "Hardees" that this is NOT the customers' problem! If your servers and employees cannot provide the service that YOU expect in a reasonable time that YOU have to place them on a timer and then inconvenience the CUSTOMER by asking them to extend themselves away from what is expected from what the CUSTOMER expects from a FAST FOOD franchise.... then you need to rethink your position or re-hire another group of qualified employees... or hire employees like the ones that work at the "COOK-OUT" or "CHICK-FIL-A"...! And they have NEVER asked me to "DRIVE UP TO THE WHITE LINE...!" Matter of fact... their employees are much more respectful and food is better tasting... I think I will go to either of them from now on.
