I also received a letter from equian demanding for to either call them or enter every possible information about my treatment on their website after inputting the special code and reference number that they had written on the letter. And for those who claimed that their insurance actually acknowledged this company, it does not surprise me since bluecross and blueshield would actually dare to recure to such a lowly means to make money but not pay for the patient's medical claims which are their responsability. After experiencing many wrong things by my insurance I was going to let it go and move on but after this, now my insurance will have to respond to me.

I received a letter from TroverSolutions and after reading it several times it didn't sound right. I decided to not call them but contact my provider and see why I needed a 3rd party for something that could be answered in two words to BC/BS. They did say after she claimed she did a lengthy search that yes they did use Trover. A lengthy search. why? I told her I had done a search into Trover and it came up under the top 10 scam companies. She said mam do you believe everything you read on the internet. Oh my blood boiled. No I don't I told her but then I would believe if there were your own agents in here saying they do not know Trover nor have ever heard of them. This I told her on top of the numerous files against them. She said well then you need to send us the letter. For what I asked? You cannot take my answer down? No. Why is your company sending a 3rd party server for such a simple thing. I do not know mam I don't work in that dept. She should know! I asked for a supervisor who said send it also and I said no sir I cannot do that I am afraid of my identity being stolen. He started to say something not very nice when I said here is my answer and you have to take it or leave it. He took it. Unbelievable. Now I am just waiting to see if they bother me again. I sure hope to see if this company contacts me again. They better not. Sincerely, another dissatisfied customer.

I received a letter from Trover Solutions want information on a Kaiser emergency room visit asking for information on a possible third party responsible for the injury. At the time of my visit I paid the emergency room co-pay and answer all the questions about a possible third party being responsible for my injury which I answered in the negative. All the information that Trover are asking was answered when I checked out of the emergency room and paid my co-pay. I thought the letter was legitimate and went on line to fill-out the questionnaire, when I got to the last question which want to know about my attorney, answered and clicked next but I got a screen that said next page not available, I did the twice and finally gave up and called the 800 number and spoke to a representative and told him of the problem, he acted like he didn't know of the problem and wanted to take my information over the phone, which I declined . I think the whole thing is a scam and I will inform Kaiser of my suspicions.

Got one of those letters people have mentioned. I did call but right off the bat they got real nosey so I said I'm calling Blue Cross and hung up.

Called BCBS, told them what I had, the gal I talked to said she never heard of them but would look. After being on hold for about 5 minutes she came back and said they don't use this outfit and I should ignore the letter.

IMO its a SCAM!

I thought this was weird, but it did have my information from Kaiser on the letter. I filed a complaint with Member Services for Kaiser, and then I get this letter wanting to find out if my "injury" was work related or if I could possible hold someone else liable. My complaint was with Kaiser and how their staff treated me and made many mistakes while treating me. I also stated that the lab that I went to was a mess, and the staff was just aweful. This had nothing to do with an injury, and I was not personally injured by kaiser. I just asked for my co pay back or a credit, since the visits I was making for the same lab work were piling up and I was getting tired of having to go back and get stuck again and again only to have the results come back incorrect or not at all. If anything, Kaiser should worry that its member will sue them for malpractice. JMO

If this company was so good why are so many taking THEM to court........I wouldn't give them any information after reading about them.......

Healthcare Recoveries, Gibson and Sharps, Trover, who pays for them? We do, with higher premiums, as the insurance companies try and "3rd Party" their way to profits. Who are the "3rd Parties" who "should pay"? Why other insurance companies with their own subrogation henchmen and the same motives. How in the heck does this keep costs down? Does it really keep costs down if your BCBS gets paid back by my Kaiser who does the same with another Ins Co and so on with the added overhead of all these "lawyers" and "recovery" shysters? Get real. Ignore these idiots, you are just feeding their fraudulent system.

omg you ppl are crazy, call you health plan its a real compnay that works with your health plan to make to third party isnt liable for you treatment like work comp or car insurance. this is not a scam they are just trying to keep cost, so the health plan isnt paying for stuff another party is liable for.
