I am a 74 year old lady with congestive heart failure, which I believe was caused by the tremendous amount of stress that Ironwood Finance & its subsidiary, Copperwood Finance caused me with their unscrupulous predatory actions. My 78 year old husband recently had a stroke, and is now scheduled to have a quadruple bypass surgery this coming Wed, Nov 3.

What added to all this is when two strangers knocked on our door and asked us if we were aware that Ironwood Finance had posted our homestead to be sold at Sheriff's foreclosure auction within just a few days. I had not received any notices to that effect, and was not aware of any foreclosure action. These two strangers were instrumental in getting the foreclosure auction postponed... Thank God!

Somehow Ironwood Finance used a FORGED Deed of Trust and filed it at the courthouse. And now for the past two years we have been tied up in legal matters, and depositions. Ironwood has filed an unscrupulous lawsuit against us and refuses to release this fraudulent Deed of Trust. And instist that I pay them $309,000... from which I had no knowledge of, and did not receive a dime from them, or even heard of Ironwood before. The FORGED signature on the Deed of Trust is not only NOT MINE, but it is a very BAD forgery.

All of this stress and expense has left us broke, financially ruined, with unbearable anguish and mental duress. Has ruined mine and my husband's health. We have been forced to eat at the welfare pantry. I have cried myself to sleep too many nights to even count. Something needs to be done to stop this predatory and and unscrupulous lender.

In the mean time... we are contacting the following: social media sites, Ripoff Reports, Pissed -Off Consumer, Complaint Board, Attorney General's Office, Better Business Bureau , Fed & State Banking Regulators, Federal Dept of Justice, as well as the agency that oversees Elder Abuse and Elder Financial Statutes.
