Mail & Bank Fraud

Hey you all, I am a retired Marine and won't put up with fraud. I spent nearly all trying to square away my checking account and still have to contact the military with my new checking account info. Afterwards I went to the local postal office and did some detective work and got this information. We, and I mean ALL of us who have been ripped off need to call you Congressional Reps and complain until they can't stand it anymore. In addition, Call 1-800-275-8777 toll-free to reach the Washington D.C. headquarters of the U.S. postmaster general. The telephone system will prompt you to enter the type of inquiry or complaint you wish to file.

Explain the problem. The office of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service investigates five broad categories of complaints: mail service issues, emergencies, mail fraud, mail theft and identity theft. The Postal Inspection Service provides customer support for general questions.

Use "snail mail." Write a letter to the postmaster general to file a formal complaint, especially complaints pertaining to law-enforcement issues such as fraud. The address is:

Postmaster General

U.S. Postal Service

475 L'Enfant Plaza, SW

Washington, DC 20260-0010

The proper salutation to begin the letter is "Dear Mr. Postmaster General." (do they really think he's royalty?)

Explain the issue and provide copies of any documentation relating to the complaint, as well as your full name, address and telephone number.

Sign the letter and send by certified mail if you desire proof of receipt.

Good luck with the phone as they never reply or answer your complaint. There is power in numbers! We must flood his office with every complaint possible. I also found out that the USPS gets paid for their bulk mail that is sent out and deliver it. So, why would they shut off the valve that feeds them. They need to be exposed for allowing these crooks to get away with what they are doing. Its a racket that means they know what is happening but because they are in the red, they don't really care if your accounts get compromised! Help me unite and let this bozo we aren't going to put up with it. Letters, phone calls, and your representatives need to know if they don't fix the problem, they'll be out of a job. Save you envelopes and all other evidence, including banking documents and let's hammer him until they do the right thing and catch these crooks. They have a USPS P.O. Box that they have to pick up the money sent in, how hard is it to have a law enforcement unit to wait for them to come in and then snag them? Think about it. Brother Danny USMC retired
