Please read this before you choose to work for Lincare. Before choosing to work there, I wish I would've thought to read reviews on this company, my decision would've quickly changed. I was in sales for Lincare. I took a territory that had previously had 7-8 reps to work within it for only 2 years prior to my coming. When I began the position, I faced so many challenges because doctors had chosen to move on to other companies due to Lincare's unprofessionalism, sexual comments made by management regarding other employees, rude staff, never following up on orders/referrals, losing information on their patients, and several types of fraud. I was told multiple times by doctors and staff that they liked me well and were very sorry but, they would not refer to Lincare, EVER. This was an embarrassment for me because I was representing this company but, I chose to remain positive in hopes that I could be the one to make a change.
After a few months, I could clearly see that wasn't going to happen. The doctors and hospitals in my territory never referred. They were so nice when I visited their offices but, they didn't want to refer to Lincare.
I was told before leaving for vacation in July that my numbers were very low and I needed to focus on getting them up. It was beyond me how they thought that would happen since no one would refer to the company in the territory. I left for vacation and when I returned, I was fired and told that I had "falsified a document". My manager, who has an IQ of a 5 year old and probably a GED at most, told me that it was found that I had stated in my sales calls that I visited a doctor, put his name in STS, and said I saw him. I always put the doctor's name in and his/her staff because it was proof that I was there. This specific doctor, I had dropped off a document a few times and the staff told me that he wasn't there but they would get it to him to have him complete; they never said he had retired.( Even if he had of, most physicians will still continue to complete paperwork on their patients for awhile after retiring.) While I was on vacation, my manager and area manager went to great lengths to find a reason to let me go and when I returned, I was told that the doc had retired and I had put in that I saw him recently.
Lincare fired me because of my numbers, not because of a document that was "falsified". They used that as an excuse so they could deny my unemployment, This company will do all they can to benefit themselves. They don't care about people, customers, employees, they care about the money they make and that is ALL.
This company has horrendous reviews from customers and employees and the Better Business Bureau dropped them because they had so many complaints and wouldn't return phone calls to them to explain why these complaints were happening.
Lincare is the most crooked and shady company out there. They shouldn't be in business. I witnessed the nastiness, rudeness, fraudulent and twisted actions that was to their benefit and it was shameful.

I did not falsify a document, I did my job by entering what I did that day. I was defamed and they denied my unemployment
all because they are a company that doesn't have morals and ethics or care about people. I paid into unemployment benefits as everyone else does and they have denied me all because they chose to lie to their benefit.
Please, whatever you do, don't work for this company or ever allow them to take care of your family or friends. Choose another company, there are so many out there and always do your research before making that choice.
