Poor customer service

I am a Respiratory Therapist from UWMC and deal with discharges on a daily basis for our inpatient population. I've seen countless situations but this particular case definitely stands out. I contacted Lincare on 11/8 leaving them 2 messages through out the day, Lincare never called back. I called the following day, got through, faxed all required paperwork for a trach mist to be provided for patient's discharge happening that same afternoon. I was told they had everything they needed and the equipment would be delivered to the indicated address. Patient discharged on 11/9. Patient's wife called our facility on 11/13 asking for equipment because Lincare never delivered. I was referred to call our local Lincare office in Auburn, which I did and they informed me of never getting any paperwork. I faxed it over asap. Called them back within the hour and they still haven't received it. I faxed it again. After looking over it the rep said they had everything they needed but that I should contact the Mountlake Terrace branch which was closer to my patient's home. I called Mountlake Terrace but it was already after hours. I reached out on Tuesday and was told I needed a new prescription. I took down word for word what the prescription should say, hunted down the physician that wrote the discharge paperwork. A new order was faxed over but it still didn't have the correct wording. By Wednesday I asked to speak to the Supervisor who apologized and attempted to fax me an order sheet to ease the ordeal with the prescription. Well, he didn't fax that over at all. Long story short, Lincare was provided with an order by the patient's PCP. The run-around I was given was completely unacceptable. The fact that the patient was without an aerosol was extremely unacceptable as he could have plugged with mucus and had life threatening complications. This situation was absolutely unsafe, there was no consistency with the provided information, there was no easy guideline, and not much support.
