Subscription sent without my permission

I began receiving In Style Magazine by mail in October and called to try to cancel it with the company 11/13/14. I was told M2 Media group ordered the subscription and that I needed to call them to cancel. I quickly did a search and this forum came up. I asked for a manager at In Style and was told three times, it would take a while, I continued to state I will wait and had to get forceful to get her to get me a manager. She did and it was less than 5 minutes. This person stated their policy is not to cancel the subscription without the billing information, but stated she would do it this time. I still have no idea if it was charged to me or not? I will be watching every credit card for the next month or two to look at who sent this.
