$2.00 charge

I have paid my statement balance in full the next month I get an interest charge of $2.00 I pay that then get another charge. This is not right. I've had to call several times to have them reverse the charge. I've had this card for years they use to add the interest into the balance monthly now they state they do do not.

Horrible treatment while shopping by a man name Mr. Green in Boynton Beach

I am 62 and have been shopping at Macy's for many years. My daughter used to work in Corporate at Macys several years ago.

We were shopping there today between 12:30 and 1:30 in case you would like to check you cameras to verify everything I am telling you. We had a baby stroller with us is how you will know it is us. We were shopping and found several things we were considering trying on in the discount area that we were hanging on the stroller and when the baby which is a new born started to cry my daughter put her in the baby carrier and wore her and I pushed the stroller. We each had about ten items that we placed on the stroller and we were in the baby area when a very rude man came up and wanted to take our stuff from us and do what he called organize our stuff, we politely told him we were okay but he was insisted on taking our stuff from us to keep at the registrar and we said we needed to try on our stuff and we were not ready to ring out. After telling him several times he said he was going to go get a z bar for our stuff......mind you we were not done shopping but quickly getting ready because of his rudeness. Well he runs off telling us he was going to go get this bar to put our stuff on ...wth heck to push around this rack while shopping????? Maybe you can tell me? At this point we were getting upset but had spent time picking out the stuff so decided instead on shopping more to just try stuff on and get ready to leave because of this crazy jerk. (Mr. Green) So we went to the closest dressing room to try one and from across the floor we here stop ladies stop .....STOP LADIES STOP LADIES!! WTH Here is comes with this z bar, what he called it to insist we put our stuff on it and he pulled all of our stuff out of the stroller and went through it ....CHECK YOU CAMERAS WE DID NOTHING TO INDICATE WE HAD ANY INTENTION TO STEAL! We were shopping! This was the most insulting thing that has ever happened to me and my daughter while shopping! WE ARE DONE WITH MACY'S! We did nothing to deserve that treatment. AGAIN... please check your cameras and you will see! Upon ringing out we asked for his name and who the manager was so we could go talk to the manager and guess what...... Mr. Green is the manager..... You can call me at 305-984-5832. Again take a look at us shopping and you will see we did nothing to be treated like we were going to steal!!! Shame on you!

Shopping While Black

I have been shopping at macys for years and even though the close have changed to the worst I still go on occasion. Today I go in and immediately the store staff begin to follow me to each rack acting as if they were verifying merchandise finally I got frustrated and asked the young man if there is something I can help him with. He smiles and said no I said okay becaus3 you have been following me since I got in the store. This reminds me why I ehould never shop there again. I'm a young black woman and they automatically assume I'm a shoplifters. Every person of color should boycott them. How can I have a peaceful shopping experience why you have your employees following me. From now on I will not shop at macys because this happens every single time I go in there. Everyone should boycott this racist company.

Was hung up 3 times for asking where my order was

I ordered two pillows only received one, when I called to find out why I haven't received the other pillow, I was told they would find out and update status to give them 24 hrs. I waited 24 hrs. went online to see what status was, status remained the same. I called to find out what was going on and was hung up on 3 times so I demanded to speak to a manager. I explained my problem and was told by the supervisors that I had two choices, wait for her to file a report in 10 days, then wait 5 weeks for a decision or cancel the order. When I asked how was this fair, she simply said, apparently we do not agree on the same information. So I cancelled the order and credit card for being treated rudely. A simple let me reship the item, would of resolved the whole thing.

Credit Card

There really should be a class action law suit! Here goes... unbenounced to my knowledge when I opened my Macy's account I was automatically enrolled into a credit protection program. Upon me taking not seem I would pay my bill and never saw the additional charges. Once I took notice of the charges I called and requested a full refund I don't have a need for the protection as a retiree. I received a very nice letter in the mail refunding me back over 1400.00 however a couple days into the refund Macy's decides they want to lower my credit limit by the amount of the refund ( or the amount which I hadn't touched as of yet! So I'd rather receive a bill for 2buck then to get strong armed robbed by a company whose products I really cared for and bill I paid earnestly. Give the refund with a smile then take it back by lowering my line of credit is the shakiest business move by any major corporation I've seen yet. Yes I'm talking to an attorney to discuss damages! Bye Macy's!!!

Credit charge on zero balance

Fee charged on zero accounts by Macy's on the CITI Card!
Received bill for $2.00 after having paid off bill well before due date last month. Contacted Macy's asking why they are charging me on a zero balance. Customer service person was in Philippines and stated she could delete the fee, in 24 to 48 hours. I will follow up on this!

I told her I have never had a business send me an additional billing on a paid account. It's equivalent to purchasing a flight, or a train or bus ticket, and then, upon arrival being charged a fee to dis-embark!

Being quite upset, with having to go through this, when I am ill with angina, with a quad bypass, done, but, leaving half
a heart, and hypertensive, plus only 50% infraction index (suffers half the air I breathe to be lost).

The lady was extremely courteous, patient, kind, and I GUARANTEE YOU she doesn't even get paid for the full value of her work!! May God Bless her!

Macy's will not see any more activity from me, or my family members. We're done with them!
I hope this "small change charge fraud" is worth it to them!

During the business day tomorrow, October 25, 2016, plus, every day, until it is resolved to our satisfaction, I will phone a Macy's US customer service rep. at 1-866-593-2543 to assure the complete closure of all the Charge Cards in possession of my huge family!

I think I will notify all my 900+ Face Book Friends, about this, too.
We share over 8,964 friends, and grow by several hundred daily! Fee charged on zero accounts!

Credit Card Practices

I have been a Macy's customer my entire life. I have used their credit card for the past 15 plus years. I am not longer a Macy's customer and just finished shredding my Macy's card.
For several years I paid little attention to my Macy's account. I would visit their stores, makes purchases as necessary, my statement would be sent electronically, and my pre-arranged payment would be automatically withdrawn from my checking account. Everything was pretty much on auto pilot.
A few months ago Macy's made the unilateral decision to change the due date for my payment. I'm not sure why the change was made, but I understand it was part of a much bigger overhaul to their general credit and billing practices and it effected all card holders, not just me. To Macy's credit, they did send me a letter advising that I had a new payment due date and that my new due date was now going to be two days prior to my scheduled automatic bank draft (ACH). They ask that I contact customer service to change my ACH date.
As requested I contacted Customer Service and had my ACH date changed so that my payments would be made one week before the new due date. I was on the phone for more than an hour to complete this process and there was a definite increase in language barrier issues. I am suspect, that Macy's has moved a large part of their customer service department overseas (possibly India).
Although I contacted customer service more than two weeks before my next scheduled payment, I was told the ACH charge might not go into effect until after my next due date and therefore a late fee might be assessed. However, the representative assured me that it would not be a problem. Notations were being made on the account and if a late fee was assessed, it would be automatically removed.
When my new statement arrived, a late charge had been applied (first late charge I have had in 15 years) but had not been automatically removed as I was told it would be. Additionally, the amount of my usual payment had increased dramatically, it had more than doubled. I called customer service again, was on the phone for another 53 minutes, and again had language barrier issues. On this call I was assured that the late fee was being reversed and that all interest or other charges associated with the late fee were being reversed. I was also told that the same thing might happen the following month because the requested changes to the ACH date still had not been gone through (very hard to believe in this modern day of computers). Not wanting to continue this process, I asked that my ACH payments simply be stopped and reverted back to making my payments at my local store. Less convenient to go to the store, but only when the ACH program is working as intended. As for the increase in my payment amount I was told it was a result of my payment "being late" and fee associated with it being late. I was told those fees had been reversed and my payment, which would now need to be made at the store, would go back to the amount that I had been paying in the past. After my call with customer service, I went to the local Macy's and made a payment in the amount I was instructed to make.
Early this week a received my most recent statement. Although I had made my payment, before the due date, in the amount I was instructed to pay, the statement showed that I was late again. I had been charged with late fees again. And the amount of my usual payment had risen again. I have spent more than two hours on the phone today to resolve the string of problems that Macy's created, to no avail. Not to mention the time spent writing this complaint.
I earnestly belief Macy's derives a large portion of its revenue from the improper fees and penalties it charges customers for problems Macy's itself creates. They have lost me as a customer and I will be looking into the possibility of a class action arising out of their billing practices.

Fraudulent charges

I have made 8 phone calls (average call 30+ minutes) to Macy's trying to have their statement of fraud sent to me. Everytime I call they tell me they are sending the form- 2 months later I'm still waiting! I am very frustrated with Macy's "customer service" In August 2015 someone using my personal information (ss number) went into a Macy's in Henderson Nevada ( I have never been there) and charged over $3,000.00 using my account. Apparently it is not hard to go to the counter and provide a social security number and obtain an existing account number. I have filed police reports, credit agency reports, fraud statements to other retailers and have resolved the fraud transactions with them, however Macy's is the one company I am having trouble resolving this with. I have received phone calls for late payments, and calls stating "I filed a complaint about the merchandise purchased and Macy's is waiting for the merchandise to be returned and when will I be returning this merchandise?" I asked them how can I return something I never had possession of? This is becoming beyond ridiculous.

credit department

I've had a Macy's credit account for at least 15 years. I have never missed a payment, never had a credit dispute and never been late with a payment. About a month ago, I deduced (can't remember how) that a new Macy's card had been sent to me. I called Macy's to let them know I hadn't received it. They told me I could report it lost or stolen 10 business days after it was sent. It has been well over 10 business days and I haven't been able to get in touch with them by phone, e-mail, their website and even by calling my local Macy's Executive Office (left a voice mail for a specific executive 3 days ago....no return call). Furthermore, I had a credit balance and when I inquired about that (I made this inquiry during the same conversation referenced above) they told me they'd sent me a check for the balance. As far as I know, I never received that check.

I have sent them at LEAST 10 e-mails via their website...the one that says:
