After experiencing the $2.00 finance fee that has accumulated on my Macy's credit card on a zero balance over the past 4 months, and then reading a series of complaints from people who have experienced the exact same thing, I decided to add my experience online to help document this disturbing Macy's finance practice. I paid my balance in full 3 months ago, and found a $2.00 fee on my next statement. I called customer service and paid the $2.00 fee with the promise that this would be the end of it. My next statement accrued another $2.00 fee and my subsequent statements accruedadditional $2.00 fees. I called customer service again and asked them to reverse the charges and they promised to do so. It is really concerning when these kind of practices are used and it has diminished my confidence in Macy's. If another $2.00 charge shows up on my next "paid off" statement, then I will definitely be closing my account with Macy's.
