Not getting paid for working

Dear Applicant,
I went to work the end of Jan and worked for 5days and I had to leave because of a family matter and I have been calling the hotel and leaving my phone number and name but no one calls me back and I am getting really pissed off and everytime I call my card my pay is not on there, My mom has even went up there and ask while I'm out of town taking care of family but the manger said the check hasn't processed yet WTH does that mean..


P.S its really messed up that you work and don't get paid for working your butt off I will never work for this company again....

Money stolen

Dear Marriott,

Salutation and friendship from the HuTai Travel agency.

We have one of our respected client, Mrs. HaNeul Kim who checked in the St Regis Mauritius resort in May 2018 and is till now having heated conversation regarding a sum of money which was handed to a boy of the reception. The money was to be handed to his butler, who did not receive the money till now.
Our client has already lodged a complaint at The Marriott customer care centre complaints and waiting for information before starting a legal action against the Hotel.

Due to language barrier issues, we have formally registered his facts that he handed the money to a boy called Didier, who worked in the reception department. He wears a green yellow spottish shirt, grey pant as conformed to your reception staffs uniform, fair skin colour.

Via the latest mail exchanged with a staff of the hotel, BONOMALLY, our client was informed that they couldn’t trace the money because it was not seen on the cameras.

Please address this concern because it underlies our client dissatisfaction, which can cause reluctance from our side to send our respected forthcoming clients towards St Regis Mauritius Resort.
In line with this, please note that each time we called the hotel to get the Resort manager's contact information, there was a certain degree of hesitancy to forward our dolensces to the manager, which cause more and more suspicions on where this money may be.

Regarding being over charged

On July 21st 2017,I made several calls to the property in Brown Deer,Wisconsin between 10:07am and 10:45 am to cancel this reservation. On the 21th of July I talked to the Front Desk Clerk and she assured me that I will be charged the cancellation fee only.however,on July 22nd,2017 the Marriott placed a charge of $466.00 on my account in error.However,when I contacted the hotel the
( Regional Director of Operations Tony Cruz ) stated via email that ""we were sold out for those date.We are unable to cancel reservation because of the lost revenue." At this point I'm weighing my options.

JOB EMPLOYMENT AND VISA PROCESSING,HOW TRUE?

A very good day to u our. I received a text message on my email address ([email protected]) of a job offer by Marriott Hotels Toronto Canada. Accommodation, Food, and conveyance I was told will be well taken care of.

I was sent some documents by Marriott Hotels to fill and it was approved. I was sent an Invitation Letter was asked to pay a sum of $300 Canadian Dollars which is Ninety three thousand naira.( #93,000).
I was asked to send it to Silva paiar in Cape Verde Island which I did.

I was asked to scan the receipt and forward it to the Canadian immigration bureau Ottawa which I did.
A Confirmation Receipt and clearance certificate was sent to me by the Canadian immigration bureau Ottawa and I equally issued a Visa Authorization Letter. I was told my entire document has been approved

A temporary Canadian Visa form was sent to me which I filled and scanned it back.

I was sent a reply by the Canadian Zonal tourist department that my appointment date has been fixed at the Canadian Embassy in my country Nigeria.

But before all my processed document can be sent to me, I must pay a sum of $285 dispatch stamp fee and $235 DHL parcel service fee.

I just want to know if have not fallen into the hands of the slammer or will I say fraudsters . Pls kindly reply me in my email address above.

reservation

Our weekend plan was kind of messed up by an unexperienced staff worker about booking through a 3rd party booking service. I booked and paid thru my CU Reward (Orbit) and when I arrived at Courtyard Marriott, Ivy (staff) was going to charge me again for my room that I have already paid for 2-nights through my CU Reward, which she said Marriott does not honor the CU Reward. I had already paid for this through a 3rd Party booking service. She would not check me in or issue me room keys, so I had to leave and find accommodations at another Hotel. I tried to call my 3rd party that evening but could not speak to a live person, so I could get reimburse or the issue resolved. So the next day I called and was told that Ivy with Marriott told them I was checked in. Wonder how that happens when I never showed anyone my ID; and was not issued room keys. FRAUD!!!!!!!!! My plan is to pursue this matter as far as I have to, to get my reimbursement. Points or cash whatever it takes!! I had my 2 grandchildren with me ages 4 and 7 and this unexperienced staff (Ivy) cause me and my family some very precious time that should have been avoided if she has only taken the time to find out the correct procedure before leaving us out without accommodation. She stated that if I wanted to stay it would be 179.00 per night. Now why would you ask for payment again? So I did leave and booked my weekend stay with a different Hotel chain, which cost me money that was reserved for out weekend adventure. I request that this be corrected and that Marriott reimburse me for my 2-night’s stay that was booked in advance and Ivy would not issue room or keys to.. VERY UPSET WITH MARRIOTT STAFF at this location. I am not asking for anything above the cost of the other charges from the Hotel I had to stay because Ivy would not issue me a room or key. The charge was $308.94, and I will be glad to mail you a copy of my receipt.

My room reservation was not honored.

Bad Service at The Marriott Hotel in Del Mar, San Diego

I made a reservation to the Marriott Hotel in Del Mar , San Diego for May 15, 2016. When I arrived, I was told by the front desk, that they were booked. That they have overbooked, therefore I had no room. They sent me to one of their affiliated hotels Marriott Regency which
had not comparison to what I had paid. This hotel did not have room service, nor a restaurant and did not appear nice at all to my taste.

I came back again to the Marriott where I had my original reservation and told them of the inconvenience I was going through, the hotel clerk accommodate me at another hotel that happened o be 8 miles away. I was invited to a Wedding Anniversary only 3 miles away, it was impossible to go 8 miles and come back again another 8 miles. I was very tired, so I called the people where I was going and told them of my situation. I went directly to the party. where I had impose on them to take a shower and change. I called the Marriott of Del Mar and told them to please call Morgan Run Resort where they had made my reservation, that I was going to check in late. When I arrived at this RESORT, this place happened to be worse than the second one. I requested double queen beds, well it only had a king bed, had a cigarette smell, was located on the second floor and had no elevators. I am a 63 year old women, who had travel for many years and never in my life received such a humiliated treatment. I had to leave and ended back at the place where the party took place,and asked to stayed. The next morning I went back to Marriott Del Mar , spoke to Blair Camarillo, who claimed to be the supervisor, I still have not received an apology from The Marriott hotels for all the nightmare I went though,

Disrespectful General Manager

On 27 April 2016, at 1:45pm Est, the General Manager, Mr. Derrick Pair of the Renaissance Portsmouth Norfolk Waterfront Hotel, was very Disrespectful and Unprofessional in a conversation about reservation for rooms.

As a "Platinum Member" and Government Employee, I was applaud by his arrogance a manger who you would think, would lead in a professional manner. Mr. Pike attitude portrayed an arrogance has "I am a franchise and I have no boss; and I can say whatever I want; and do whatever I want!"

I also, found it interesting that his hotel was selling rooms on the 28th of May as high as, $700.

I would hope someone in corporate would look into this matter and restore the trust and respect of the Marriott Hotels.

Customer Care

I along with my wife spent the week end at your Courtyard

Marriott located at 11605 Hwy 151 in San Antonio, Texas

this past weekend. I first off will say that the room and

the hotel itself were wonderful. However my Pickup was

vandalized, the passenger glass broken completely out of

the vehicle, and A GPS stolen. The staff attempted to help.

However they acted not as a team, but as individuals when

communications among the group would have salvaged our

weekend. Attempts were made by the staff to contact a

glass replacement firm. in fact an appointment was

established for that feat to take place at 1230 pm

Saturday by a staffer and confrmed by me. The manager

not having been apprised by her on duty staff however

unknowingly cancelled that appointment without advising

me. After waiting 2 hours for the technician to arrive on

site and then realizing something was wrong I went back to

the counter and at that time was told of the cancellation.

The process then had to start over with another long wait

and the window finally being replaced at approximately 4

pm. Our planned day of enjoyment was lost. would have

been able to have enjoyed our stay has the staff spoken to

each other. There was also much staff conversation about

the frequent acts of vandalism in the area. It appears that

if that is a known fact then an 8 or 9 dollars an hour

security guard would be great, especially around Holidays

when the masses arrive.

ithaca marriott

about 2007 Marriott in Delray Beach suffered power loss. Had to check out early - no a/c no water etc. Manager gave credit. Went to use it several month later and they refused to honor the credit. Marriott HQ refused to assist - so I (and the company I own and the team I coach) did not stay at Marriott properties until last year. That's over six years.
Now, Marriott properties in Ithaca NY have rooms available but want minimum two night stay. I only need to stay for one night for a sports championship. The manager never bothered to call me back. The 800 # supervisor "Joe" told me that he could not do anything; it was the individual hotel setting. I told him that may be so, but the hotel still has the Marriott name on it.
Ramada, on the other hand, waived their two night requirement and rented me two rooms. At a discount.
I need to drop my Marriott rewards (again!) and move to Ramada. And I hope the Marriott rooms stay vacant.
Plenty of hotels to stay at. No need to stay with a hotel chain that doesn't want my business.

Bed Bugs and wrong charges

Stayed at the hotel and got room service first night. When I got my receipt at the end of my stay there was a difference between what the hotel receipt says was charged to my credit card and what my credit card transaction shows. They also charged my credit card for another amount that is not on my receipt at all!! My co-worker stayed in the same hotel, same days but on a different floor and she killed bed bugs in her room. I called to ask about the disputed charges and was put on hold for several minutes then transferred to someone's voice mail. I left my number but so far no call back. Credit card company is next.

Bad customer service

My experience with Marriott courtyard hotel by airport in Atlanta Ga. I checked in late no parking, so I decided to grab a snack at the hotel, I bought a Ham and cheese pretzel sandwich and bottle of water. I sat in this cool hotel eating the sandwich and noticed 3/4 way through it was discolored and I had already eaten 3/4 so I threw the rest out and went to my room. Once in the room I went to bathroom the toilet handle broken does not work but I thought I got to leave at 4:00 am to return car and catch early flight so just leave it alone... so go to bed, great bed! So anyway travel all day get home to NM and just not feeling great then I had food poison symptoms really sick throwing up and stomach problems so I call the hotel in Atlanta that evening just to make sure they check freezer food so somebody else not get sick and clerk apologizes to me and puts me through to manager line so I leave a message... what really gets me is that I am sick really sick and I take time to call and NO ONE has decency to respond back to say we check in to that etc.... POOR Management Skills, I will never stay in another Marriott Property I think the lack of concern shows me You could careless about your customers. Restaurant manager poor customer service

I had two cups of coffee at the Marriot hotel restaurant, which costed only 9.8 dollars. I was going to pay with my debit card, staff member tried couple of times on machine and told me that eftpos machine was down. I paid with cash. Next day, I checked my bank account I noticed that 9.8 dollars was withdrawn at Marriot hotel. As I live near by, I went back there to get refund. The Indian manager was rude, made me feel very uncomfortable by saying that, once it declined it should not happen. I showed my decline receipt and my bank account on my mobile. There was no apologise at all, he acted like he was doing my favor, because it is such a small amount of money and he looked annoyed as well. He did not offer me a seat or anything, make me wait at the counter for 10 min for his name card. During the conversation, he did not let me finish my sentence either. What a rude man.... I was very disappointed with 5 stars hotel poor customer service!!!!

disrespectful employees to gues

Consumer has travel to philippines since june, 16 2006 and has stayed in the cebu marriote each time they visit. last year september 10 2013 the three consumer arrived with an employee discount, this employee is 37yr veteran who work for the marriote company for years. he recommend that we stay there in marriote in 2006. we book our tickets and was suppose to recieve the eimployees discount from the your employee, (Anthony Manning) located in Detroit Marriote Renesances Building. While i was in cebu marriote with harvey brooks and tim maddox we experience disrespect from the employees and another gues living staying in the marriote, the gues we are complainting about is white man who was visiting the philippines, as we were. Now this man was with the filipina woman in his present and was getting on the elevator i alfred cooper was holding the elevator door for them to come on the elevator. this guy called me a nigger and told his companion to not get on the elevator with me and refused to allow her to get on the elevator. he then in return went to the front desk and continue to say disrespectful words to the marriote desk staff. in the lobby was several japaneese buisness men who had a look of shock on their faces when this guy just disrespect me as thought he owned the hotel. i didnt go up to the floor i stop the door from closing and step off the elevator to ask him what did he call me. the staff and the white gues look in shock to see me standing behind this man who disrespected me. i ask for the manager in which i made a formal complaint. this person the night manager claim to take things in their hands and make sure they would speak to this gues. mean while i am still waiting on the discount of your employee some how your employees in cebu misplace the information of the fax comfirmation letter sent via email and fax 12 times. their is no way they didnt recieve it. so i decided to pay in cash the amount for staying there without the employee discount. just to inform you the payment was more than $1,200'00 dollars. this was give to these people in good faith they would solve this problem then it was not solve it was esculated to the point i decided to just leave the marriote and go to another hotel feeling disrespected by the staff and management of your cebu marriote. i am just now again writing another complaint to your attention my second since i had not heard any response from your staff when i made the first one.the person who took the complaint jacquoi zamom,elmar lina front office manager. you can reach me at email address, [email protected] or [email protected]
