Last year 2016 Aug I meet two guys in pinetown mall sanlam centre selling spa bath machine , Nkululeko Phungula and Simphiwe ... they told me about the machine and I was interested and decided to rent it as I was paying 850 pm until this year July when was retrenchment at work... I called Medizine centre Musgrave I spoke to few ppl that were in charge there... told them that wanna cancel contract due to I'll be unemployed from Aug... the lady that spoke to me told me that she need my ID copy and machine so that they can cancel my contract ... machine was delivered I called to follow up they told me it's cancelled... So there will be no debit orders to my account anymore .... . On the 24 Aug was checking my credit score only to find out that the debt of medizone I'd still there I called the office and spoke to accounts was shocked when the lady told me I need to pay cancellation fee , I asked her how because I never missed any payment with them. And the time was signing they form last year was not told about cancellation fee... the only thing that Nkuleko said was I am paying insurance so if I loose job they will take machine.... now was confused that how can I pay something that was not told about the lady told me that there is nothing she can do... for them to cancel the debt I need to pay cancellation fee.... So in all my question is which policy or regulation state that you have to pay something you were not told about when applying or signing a form isn't that a fraud ???? Which company does that really???? So unprofessional and they don't have competent staff ...in all I will not pay any cancellation fee that was not told about when I sign the form and even when I cancel no one said anything about .... Is that the new rule so why they implying it to ppl who know nothing about it??? Unfortunately am not working and I can not pay something that was not told about if they can't cancel my debt then I'll have to take the matter further ....
