Unauthorizeds Charges

I have called Microsoft and asked that my card not be charged and deleted. I was assured that it was done. Now I have received charges totaling $126.89...Really! Now, I have to dispute the charges with my Credit Card company. Why is this company allowed to get away with doing this to consumers. .
