It's appalling. I lodged a complaint with the New York Better Business Bureau. They sent the business a letter and gave them 2 weeks to respond. When they didn't, the case was closed. So no one has held these thieves to account. I cannot believe the weak laws the US has around common thieves like this who continue to get away with this on a daily basis. How many more people have to get scammed before someone stops them filling their fat greedy wallets with the money of innocent victims?

Same happened to me, I bought an "unlocked" iPhone 4 but did not have the micro sim so I could not test it and now I found that it is locked for AT&T.
This store at 566 7th avenue is cheater and robber as you said. BUT I don't understand how it is still open and nobody did something "legal" to close the store...
