I applied for a re-fi on my condo in Signal Hill when interest rates were low. Nationstar with their untrained inadequate employees (at least most of the ones I had to deal with) kept me tied up for over two years requesting countless pieces of paper, switching to six or seven different loan processors and after every time my so called "locked in rate" went up from 3% to almost 5%. They purposely held me in limbo always coming back that they needed one more thing. It was a total hoax. If anyone else experienced this type of bullshit I would be the first in line to join in on a multi-million dollar lawsuit. I have mounds of paperwork and kept every paper, email, and correspondence I had with them. It is amazing a company could waste so much of a customers time as well as their own employees time. In short I applied for a re-fi since my interest was over 5.25% at first they said I could re-fi for 2% then after the two years the interest rate crept up to almost 5% and then said I didn't qualify for the 334K I was requesting. Really??? Anyway, why should they re-fi me when I have been paying my mortgage on time for the last 11 years? They couldn't tell me that direct but instead drug me along a path of hope to death. This treatment is so unacceptable. They are too big to take on by oneself but if I could I would in a heart beat. If I ever have to have another mortgage in my life I will make sure this company will not get my loan. They deserve the bad publicity they earn and someday it will all catch up with Karma- I just hope I'm alive to see it!
