I had my school refund check deposited onto my netspend card. Well they allowed me to take $300 dollars off and then they locked the account. Asking for my id, social security, and proof of address. Well I sent those items in they accepted my id and social security card after the 3rd time I sent them. Well I sent my ssi benefit letter in they would not approve that as proof of address. So i sent in a check stub from my part time job, they didn't accept that either. So now I have to wait til the school request the remainder of the funds back and then they have to send a check back to the school and the school has to send it to me. I have throat cancer and need those funds for my medicine. I would not recommend netspend to anyone. How in the hell can I take few hundred off and then you block my account. Netspend I don't need you to respond to this complaint unless you are releasing my funds.
