"SEO: I did nothing, "
But you said, "I took the sticker off"

"I don't appreciate being called a moron"
I didn't call you a moron. I said people who take these stickers off without understanding the consequences are morons.

"I still think you're a shill for NewEgg"
You can think whatever you like, but that does not make it true.

"I will lodge a complaint with the BBB"
When you do, make sure to mention that you're upset that the warranty for the machine is now void because you broke the seal/sticker that said, "warranty voided if broken". You'll fit right in there.

Your pathetic experiences on the Internet bore me. You just butt hurt too easily. Mods should butt hurt you, but you're stupid to realize they're the only real trolls. Everyone else is just someone you disagree with.

SEO: I did nothing, I broke nothing, and I don't appreciate being called a moron. I still think you're a shill for NewEgg. I will lodge a complaint with the BBB, and that's the end of story...

"because the only way you could know that is that you work for NewEgg and you are familiar with the case."

Because all prebuilt computers have this. It is a means to protect the manufacturer/retailer from morons who open up the housing to do something and cause something to break.

You voided the warranty by your own admission, end of story...

The circuit did not work and was hot before I took the sticker off. It was a bad circuit to begin with. And no, I did not understand what that meant. But this I do understand: Newegg's customer service is bad, and I'm still going to file a complaint with the BBB .

Anti-SEO: How did you know I removed the stickers? A rhetorical question, because the only way you could know that is that you work for NewEgg and you are familiar with the case. Please tell your corporate bosses I will continue to fight this. It will be better for all concerned that they either refund my money for the bad circuit or replace it.

customer service

I purchased 4 MB of RAM in 2 circuits from Newegg. After I installed them my computer would not boot. I shut it off and open up the cabinet and 1 of the circuits was red hot. That one was defective, but the other one works.

I returned the defective circuit to Newegg and asked for a replacement. Newegg refused to send me a replacement. They claimed I damaged the circuit. I did not. Apparently Newegg has a bad reputation when it comes to standing by their products. My next stop is to register a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

"They claimed I damaged the circuit"

You know that sticker that is across the housing that says something like, "if opened, the warranty is void."? Guess you didn't really understand what that meant...

Bait and Switch / Changes product description after sale

This company is extremely dishonest and deceptive. I recently purchased a product that in the description was supposed to include a few items. When I received the product, it was missing something. When I contacted them, I pointed out the omission and instead of sending the missing item to me, they simply changed the description on the website. I have both versions with the exact same product number...one includes the item, the one after my call with them does not. They were incredulous that the item description was not changed, but I have all the proof. When confronted with proof, they denied everything once again. I have since put a block on our company from ordering anything further from them and will never do so again. This was by far the most unethical people I've ever done business with online. Avoid at all costs!!!

Bait and Switch / Changes product description after sale

Newegg scammed me this week in the identical way. Newegg must have sold the company to a dishonest new owner or they changed management. I have been buying for YEARS and spend THOUSANDS of DOLLARS. They refused to send the missing part and deleted the words right off the item when I returned and clicked on it.
NEW EGG HAS TURNED INTO THE MOST DECEPTIVE AND DISHONEST COMPANY!
THEY HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOREVER AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE NOT TO BUY
I WILL COMPLAIN TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU
