Rude sales person

I had a photographer come to my home by the name of Tina Merindo, great work only thing is she kept touching my baby face with this big blister on her hand. Now my newborn has a rash! She informed me that viewings for my photos will be scheduled for March 30,2015. This sales person by the name of Cindy contacted me to confirm 1pm viewing. I agreed. Once 1pm came there was no text from Cindy. 1:20pm before she contacted me and asked if I wanted to reschedule, to my knowledge I took it as her being busy because she didn't call she only sent text messages which isn't professional at all. We both agreed to march 31,2015 at 4pm, only to have me waiting a second time. When I tried to contact her she sent me to voicemail. Then text messaged me to let me no she can't rush customers that I'd have to wait and she will get to me when she can. I didn't understand where this rudeness was coming from, I informed her through voicemail that I didn't have to deal with her and I will be contacting a supervisor for a complaint. She text messaged me a third time telling me she did me a favor because my appointment was the day prior. I had to bring it to her attention that she was late for that appointment also and that was the reason for the rescheduled appointment. I found it strange that she kept text messaging me about her poor work porformane but couldn't simply do her job. And I fact if she was tending to a customer why was she text messaging me? And being very rude at that, and very unprofessional.

I used to work for these guys

So, I was a photographer for this company. This is a racket. They give you a guarantee of 400 a week, then they reimburse you gas, because you gotta drive your own car and spend your own money, but the kicker is that they only pay you 22 cents per mile!! I was making under minimum wage!! That's two tanks of gas per week @ around 60 bucks per tank, that takes you gross to around 280 for a FULL week of work. It's a DAMN RIP OFF!! The pictures are great, I must say. But even those are WAAAAY overpriced. GO BUY A 400 camera, a nice flash or two, set up some blankets, and do it yourself. You will save bookuu bucks! Every time a salesman failed to make a sale, they would blame it on the photographer too. it was something I said! or something I did!! My boss never trusted me because a salesman made some crap up. I eventually quit. i had enough. i was going to lose my healthcare and the company barely contributed to it. Not even to get into the wear and tear on your cars. The regional manager had to be pretty much a salesman for the company to convince the photographers to keep wasting their own money to work. One week came up that I needed to pay bills asap, and i didn't have enough money to pay for gas that week. Federal laws says you must pay 55 cents per mile for driving work. we got 22 cents. I'm not sure how this even happens. And to top it all off, i'm trying to apply for unemployment and the DAMN COMPANY ISN'T even in the federal database!! so I have to wait for an agent to email me back blah blah blah. This job was the worst decision I ever made. Sure, babies are fun. I loved this job actually. But we barely got paid, and management was terrible.

I would never use this company again and would not recommend them

The company FAILED to take my child's newborn picture at the hospital. Their customer service rep, Shannon, was miserable, basically blaming me for not getting the photos done. Crystal made some attempts to rectify this epic fail, but e options were poor: I could take my child out for prof'l pics and submits a receipt for partial reimbursement ( based on their past practice, I'm skeptical that any reimbursement would occur) or I could bring my one-month old to the hospital to recreate the picture that should have been taken a month ago ( who brings their newborn who hasn't been immunized yet) willingly to a hospital with sick people? I am left heartbroken that my new baby doesn't have the hospital picture that matches my other two kids'picture.

I would never use this company again and would not recommend them

This is the company that does newborn hospital pictures. Two years ago I never got my sons pics but they said they would send a photog to my house "free of charge for the inconvenience". OF course I then spent 400 on a ridiculous package and the guy was a jerk that it wasnt the biggest package he had to offer. Two years later now...I had my daughter in the same hospital. Never able to find her pics online. I contacted them twice via the site email and finally threatened to complain to the BBB (which I am still doing because I am devestated). I got an email from a lady named tina requesting I call her. She said she had my sons photos from two years ago but they lost my daughters. She said she would send my sons to me "free of charge for the inconvenience". This was after she referred to my children as "baby A and baby B because (she) couldnt pronounce thier names" (The name was Gabriel). She also asked me for a description of my newborn daughters photo...that I never saw "so (she) knew what to look for". 24 hours later she says she found my daughters but the packages start at 60$.This is one month after my daughter was born. Birth announcements and all have been sent out without those pics. Whats the point.

I would never use this company again and would not recommend them

I was also a taken victim of the Our365 portraits... They first came to the hospital for my newborn pictures which were honestly beautiful and truly captured everything I want far better than the ugly portraits we got in the 70s from the hospital. BUT... then they harrassed me calling weekly to come to do the COMPLIMENTARY sitting and one free portrait. This is where it hit the fan! So I have a 6 year old who I felt terrible ommiting from them so in order for big brother to get a picture with baby brother my 6 year old had to sit through his OWN photo session- company rules. Frankly, I did not want that because we have school portraits and I refused. They insisted so I gave in. Next, I wanted a picture with myself and the baby and I too would have HAD to sit through my own session. I refused and did NOT get a picture with my baby.
Next, they insisted on doing the ugliest backgrounds that were outdated and not even professional. I expect to get veryt professional UNPOSED UNPROPPED pictures if I am pay $500 (which by the way stunned me to learn after!). So, I told the photographer I do NOT want to waste time with the ugly backdrop screen and I would rather get the black screen. He insisted anyway and said it too is the RULES. anddddd he must do in that order. Therefore, by the time we got to my baby's portrait part I wanted he was way too hundry and cranky thus forcing me to NURSE him in front of this 25 year old guy to calm him before we can continue. He was also 45 minutes late! Past the baby's happy time. IF you can believe this he FORCED me to put my baby in poses I insisted I did NOT want or like. I am the customer and the mother and I know what I like. HE made me do these poses cause again it was the company rule and policy to take 10 pics of each background and all cheesy 1970's poses were mandatory. Are you kidding me! A cranky baby not cooperating had to propped in crazy positions even when I asked him to skip it.
FINALLY comes the pictures he showed me he took on the spot. Each one in all honesty was not even as good as SEARS OR JCPENNY for a fraction of the price. THey are inferior quality poses and backgrounds to any depratment store studio. The only reason I even liked any picture is because of the editing and enhancements they did. I picked a package out and wanted a CD to make more copies. WELL that costs a fortune and even more if you want copyright rights removed. SO I bought a 500.00 package just to get the CD. I have now black backround and blue airbrushy backdrop pictures that are available at literally walmart portrait studio and look in NO WAY better, more professional or better quality. I am beyond irritated but at least I captured my baby's face as a 7month old and that is worth the price. From this point on I will use professional companies if I want to drop half a grand or sears if I want this quality. They fall in an odd category- cheesy pose pictures for the price of professional on location companies. Like I said- the newborn hospital portraits were truly breathtaking but different setting, different moment capturing and different photgraphers each time. Nonetheless, their "RULES AND POLICIES" for the pictures they take is ludicrous.
