Rushmore Finanical

I took out a loan for $550. According to the calls I've been getting, I do believe I'm getting sued. I've had 2 people from 2 different numbers call and say that my tax return and they'll put a lien on my paycheck. How do I go about filing a class action suit against them? I haven't seen my contract since I signed it. Please advise.

Fruad

I got a loan with Rushmore and made several payments before needing to change my card. Can't reach anyone and they are harassing my work but refuse to call my cell. We can't take personal calls at work or I'd call them from that number. Every number they call me from is invalid and every time I call their support number I can't reach anyone. My balance is over $4,000 and I borrowed $700. I'd love to join a class action lawsuit against them since they obviously give you the run around to charge more interest.

Scam

Applied for a small payday type loan 500.00, did receive a deposit and at that time the interest payback was about 27% on top of the 500.00 loan. So this company did debit my account but not for the amount we had discussed (which was the total amount with the interest) they started debiting 250.00 per month and did so for 4 months until I reported them to my bank for freud. At that time they were blocked by my bank and they continued to call and call and call saying I owed more and more...when in fact they owed me.

Long story short this company still calls me from random numbers and harasses me about that money almost 4 years ago. Have blocked them and will file complaints with any public bureau I can find. Be careful folks this company is scamming folks left and right and will try and get your info and take advantage.

fraud and a rip off

this is the most outrageous loan program I have ever seen. this is flat out taking advantage of those in need and making their situation even worse. I'm appalled that this type of loan is legal and regret ever hearing of this company. rushmore financial should be prosecuted and held accountable for their false advertising and deceitful lending practices. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Update to Predatory Lending Post of 1/30/2017

As an update to my previous post, I called the Online Lenders Alliance (OLA) which was listed on Rushmore Financial's website. The representative there helped me get in touch with Rushmore Financial on a 3-way call. After about 45 minutes of getting the runaround from Rushmore, having to call back and being put on hold several times, I was able to get a payoff amount and agreement to debit my account for that payoff amount this coming Friday. If you are trying to contact Rushmore Financial and can't get through, I recommend going through OLA. I will give a further update this Friday. Hopefully, this is the last I will have to deal with Rushmore Financial.

Predatory Lending

I have a loan with them and have already paid nearly twice the loan amount in interest only, along with less than half of the principle amount. Supposedly, there is no penalty for prepaying the loan, but when I call to arrange a higher payment or to get my pay-off amount, I am put on hold and eventually there is a recording saying to leave a message. Of course, my messages are not returned. I once did get a person on the line and she said she had to transfer me to "customer service." I was calling their customer service line. One time I called and the recording said there were zero people in front of me. I was still put on hold with no one answering. This was during their posted business hours. I will keep trying because I want to pay off this very high interest loan. I am considering filing a Better Business Bureau complaint.

Rushmore Financial Fraud

I had the same experience as one of the consumers above. I browsed their site, never accepted or acknowledged that I agreed to their outrageous terms and logged off. Low and behold, the next day they deposited $300 into my account. I spoke with a Ryan H. that called me shortly after the deposit telling me I owed $99 for the interest charge by the 2nd which would have been less than 10 days from the unwanted deposit into my checking account. I also received at least 10 phone calls a day from their "collection department" and was verbally harassed by one of their unscrupulous lackeys. I recognized this as predatory lending and a phishing scam. I closed my account and changed my phone number. I reported this to my financial institution who called the number that was associated with the deposit. After being transferred several times and repeatedly asked for the last four digits of my social security number my banker was finally transferred to someone that wanted to speak to me. This man again asked for the last four of my social security number. Before he could ask me any questions, I asked him exactly where he was sitting at the moment...what state. Kansas was his reply. I then asked for a physical address for this company and he said there is none because it is an online only company. I then asked for their business license number or any other licensing numbers they are doing business under. I was then put on hold for at least five minutes until finally a recording came on saying...If you'd like to leave a message....so he obviously hung up on me. I would be absolutely interested in joining a class action lawsuit against this fraudulent predatory scam and plan on pursuing just that.

Fraud

The company is operating as a DBA (Rushmore Financial) FSST Financial Services is the original LLC. There are two additional companies that list the same address and PO Box number. Action payday and Everest payday.

My complaint is this, there is no customer service available if you want to pay off your loan. Their intention is to collect as much interest as possible so they do not want you to pay your loan off early. I was left on hold for over 15 minutes several times for two days. I probably called 4 times each day. I finally chose the prompt for those applying for new loans and miraculously someone answered. I was quickly cut off and transferred to the line no one ever answers. I tried this again and asked for a supervisor only to be left on hold for 20 minutes until I hung up.

All of the afore mentioned companies should be investigated for fraud. There should be a class action law suit brought against them as well.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING ANY OF THESE COMPANIES.
