lack of professionalism

In 2016, the customer service I received was excellent. For 2017, not so much. After dealing with account representatives, I asked to speak with a supervisor. What an eye opener! The excuse for the lack of "forward motion" on my account??? The account representative was a trainee and had mishandled some things.

I had to spend $400 out of my empty pockets to get my meds. This is not money I have to spend. My membership to SCBN has been cancelled.

P.S. how many times can they lose my paperwork? 2,3, and 4 times.

No Refund & Rude Service Representatives

I tried to deal with SCBN for over three months. During that time I received several messages on my answering machine that were spoken so quickly that I had to listen over and over to even get the phone number written down. Every single person I spoke to was extremely rude or acted totally bored. I was told that I would receive a refund of $35 if I did not qualify for their services. I did not, but they still would not refund my money. They said it was past 30 days. My application was on hold for two months, but they never told me that would disqualify me for a refund. I talked to the supervisor Meghan today and told her of my dissatisfaction with the communication I had had with the company. I told her that I will never use her company and that I certainly never wanted to be in contact with them ever again. I am DONE trying to work with them. They need to understand that there are too many options in the market place and if they want my business they need to treat me with far greater professionalism than they did.

taking money they had no right to

Cancled service in December 20016. I did not know it but they have been taking $185.00 out of my account every month this year. I have not received one pill this year. They are thieves and scamers. Going to call the bbb.

SCAM

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO WROTE A COMPLAINT, I DIDN'T GO THROUGH TO THEM.

THEY ASKED ME FOR SS# AND I DIDNT FELD COMFORTABLE TO GIVE IT BY PHONE, AND I STARTED TO CHECK REVIEWS AND FOUND THEY ARE A SCAM.

SCAM

SCBN debited my bank account for over $300 for medications 3 months ago. I've never received anything. I stopped them today from getting any more withdraws from my account. This company is a SCAM please stay away from them!!!!!!!!!!!

SCBN no Meds, just payments

I went online to get a coupon or discount for some medicine I need, Advair, and somehow SCBN came online and I contacted them and they said they could get me all my meds in 3-5 weeks. They wasted no time taking my money out of my account and then they keep me on the phone for almost an hour each time I call asking where my medicine is! "Oh we can't seem to get thru to the Pharmacy its an hour wait. But call us back today!" I have been waiting since Jan. and it is now March 17,2017. and nothing but I'm being told they need more information. I hate scams like this. I have next to no income due to cut backs at work, I can't afford to keep paying for something I'm not getting!

SCBN IS A SCAM

I am a 60 year old woman with Osteo Arthritis. I have had both knees, both hips and soon both shoulders will be replaced. I am in chronic pain and I have type II diabetes, high blood pressure, Graves disease and heart problems. I have five children none grand children and my husband is 67 years old with his own health problems I am in the donut hole portion of Medicare meaning that our medications costs almost a twice as much. My husband and I are on a fixed income. We really need every penny that we can get so we thought that this company was going to be our great salvation in regards to our medicines. However they are a big RIPOFF. I agree with others about being tricked into joining this service. They don't tell you in advance that if you do not return all of the membership kit that contains all of your personal information, bank accounts, job information, doctors, medicines and etc., you cannot be reimbursed for the money taken from your bank account even though no products or medications were ever received. Why should they be worried about their information when most of the information is the customers. THIS IS A BIG RIP-OFF. I am surprised that some companies that call themselves wanting to help us end up hurting us more than what the other companies that we started out with did. This company is a sham. I paid 135.00 the first month that I joined and was told I would not get any medicine for 8 weeks and I still have to pay for my medicine out of pocket. Meanwhile another payment has come out of my bank account and no medicine. I canceled my membership and wanted my money back because I received no medicine and was told that if I did not send the membership kit back I could not get a refund. No one mentioned this before about the kit. But a rude customer service representative said that why would I expect a refund because if they don’t get the paperwork back this could result in someone else using the paperwork to get some discounts themselves and this would hurt the company. First of all this is a stupid remark I am not worried about hurting the company I am concerned about being financially hurt myself. They are supposed to be a company that can accomplish things others can’t and besides why would I want to send the kit back when it has all of my personnel information in it. They should be worried about what could hurt me. So it is more of a risk of my part to let the company have the kit back. Meanwhile I have been ripped off for over $200 dollars and no one seems to care about helping me to get my money back.They did not even verify if it was ok to take money from my account for the second month when I have not received any medications for the first month. I am on a fixed income and I feel like I have been used and this is one of the biggest scams ever for the elderly and disabled. We need to let the country know who is trying to take advantage of us and we need to stick together. SBCN is one of these companies that we need to be cautious about and others should be warned.

We as the elderly need someone to help us from being ripped off from this type of company. I contacted the BBB and they still have a good rating and I still did not get my refund or any help. Won't somebody please help us we don't have money to give away?

receiving a refund

On April 15,2016, I called to cancel my membership a couple of days after receiving my starter kit. I was told to send the starter kit and a letter stating that I am cancelling membership. The next day I mailed it back. To this day I still have not received my refund. Each time I called I am told that the starter kit is not there.

stolen my money

this company scbn is scam they call me to tell me they can help with my medication and ask for my income and my personal inf .and I say ok now and can get my medication cheap but is not they lie me they took my money from my account I never see the medication ,I call back and asked them for my money and they the money is not refundable that the way they stolen they money to the people PLEASE CHECK ALWAY BEFORE GIVE YOUR INF. SCBN,SELECT CARE BENEFIT NETWORK .

BEWARE! SCAM!

My son as been on a medication since he was 7, he's now 18 & his insurance as decided not to cover it any longer. I was told by the nurse at is pediatricians to go online & fill out paperwork to receive the medication free for a year. I went to the wrong site, I ended up on SCBN site, instead of the manufactures page. I receive a call from a SCBN rep, asking for my sons info, household income....they call back in a hour & told me they were able to get his medication approved, for free. All I needed to do was pay $35 a month. I asked why $35 a month, when I was told by doctors office it was free for an entire year. I was told by the rep that the $35 was a monthly membership fee, plus the 1st month would be $85 because they have an application fee charge. I was told told they work with the manufacture to get the medication for free, but of course to get it for free, I need to pay their monthly membership fee. So I simply told the rep I thought she was full of it & I would not pay a dime until I spoke with my sons doctor to confirm the bull crap she was feeding me. She then gets very upset & told me "I thought you wanted to help your son, wouldn't you want to do this to help your son?" I then said "No this isn't helping my son, me or anyone else you con into falling for you scam!
Please Do not fall for this! Always go to the the manufactures website to look for discounts or assistance with medication.

SCBNhttps://www.scbn.org/steps/handler/5 I lost $120.00 They claimed they never got the paper work in which I sent US mail, they told me to submit again. I paid $$50.00 and $35.00 then another $35.00 and did not recieve anything $120.00 total. I told them that I no longer need the medication because it took to long for them to process and I would like my money back. They told me that this is a process fee, I told them they did not process anything, they said its not policy to refund monies. My # is 610-570-4478
