Bad Faith

Sedgwick has acted in Bad Faith regarding my mothers work comp insurance claim. They are forcing her to settle her claim by denying all request for services. Therefore she has had to take all medical request to hearing with the state which takes as long as 6 months. My mother has had a hearing for home health care which was requested by 4 doctors and it's taken almost 4 months and pending for a result.

My mother Sally has had her work comp physician request for Home Health Care, neurological physician, natural path, physical therapy, aqua therapy, psychologist, psychiatrist, acupuncture, wheelchair, walker, back brace, mileage, etc all of which has been denied. She has been on work comp for almost 4 years, 3 IME's and has paid for everything out of pocket with the exception of physical therapy some of the time.

I have to cook, clean, do my mothers laundry, take her all appointments, and help her rehabilitate for years and it's taking it's toll on me. Sedgwick is saying that all of my mothers claims are age related and pre-exisiting. My mother worked as a waitress at two places at age 75 and was very athletic. At 68, she was also throwing newspapers as a form of exercise. She was working as a waitress when injured, so how is her being in a wheelchair age related and pre-exisiting?
