Symbol Mattress

We bought the Freedom mattress by Symbol, 2 years ago and have never been happy. First, it was so hot we couldn't sleep. I spent another $100 buying a pillow top mattress cover that has helped some. We rotate the mattress all the time and we still have indentations on each side. The mattress is high in the center, so you have to make sure you lay in your personal valley. We spent $1000 and that is maddening!

Symbol Mattress

Bought it three years ago and now it sags in the center
and you have a tendency to roll towards the center if you sleep on either side.

Englander Caress Full size set

I have had this mattress four years, bought August 22, 2013. It is an Englander Caress model full size. I sleep alone on the
mattress and weight 120 pounds at most. The mattress had what feels like a board in the middle and both sides have sloped to extent I feel like I could fall out of the bed. One side is worse than the other. I have moved it to see if the "other side" is better to now avail. I am 81 years old, on a fixed income and am having to purchase another mattress. I would have complained earlier
but have tried to tough it out. I can't and this has been the condition for three of the four years.
I would yell for a replacement but I don't want another one like this one. I would like a partial refund on the purchase price
although I was told the company didn't take my money. That they are wholesale. I will settle for a partial wholesale refund ! ! !
Or replace the set and I can sell it to someone who doesn't know the inferiority of the product. Stand behind your product especially for someone who really cannot afford buying mattresses every couple of years.

Symbol mattress

We purchased our queen matress about a year ago. Loved it at first but now its broke down in the center. The place where u bought it tells me its not in warranty since i didnt buy the box springs with it. WELL I WASNT INFORMED OF THAT WHEN U PURCHASED IT or i would have got the box springs. Now im out 600 dollors on a 5 year warranty mattress. I will tell everyome i know about this. My company i work for purchases all its matresses from these people for campers. NOT ANYMORE

Indents and poor quality

After reading the other complaints and answers, I guess I'm basically screwed. My queen size mattress is 3 1/2 yrs old and has indents in it. I've been rotating the mattress every 3 months so now both sides have intents. Also I have never seen a queen size mattress that you could lift with one hand, which leads me to the conclusion that this is a piss poor quality. I will NEVER buy or recommend a Symbol mattress to anyone.

Terrible company

I have owned my bed for 13 years. I recently started noticing back pain in the mornings, and figured it was time for a new bed. I have been very satisfied with my Symbol set this whole time, and it still looks great, no sags, no noticeable impressions, it just must not be giving me the support I need anymore. I can't say I always followed the flipping schedule, or that a large pet has never been on it, but it has lasted me this long in spite of that! I really wish I could go back and buy the same bed over again, but time changes all. I hope that a new one will be just as satisfactory as the old one was (and I can still avoid back pain if i just sleep further down on the mattress, but that can be a hassle to remember!). I have researched and decided to give them another try, with their pricing, and past track record with me, it was a no-brainer! I never EVER had to file a complaint for this set. Now, if only I can find a double sided mattress since almost everyone has turned to these "no-flip" pieces of doggie doo that only last a year or two but cost twice as much as they used to! i am not so lazy that i can't flip a mattress, plus, it allows me to vacuum it thoroughly before applying fresh linens! Pet hair gets EVERYWHERE, even under the mattress, as most pet owners know!

Terrible company

Well, I just paid $931 the most I have paid for a mattress ever! But, I figured I deserved it for being a Hospice CNA, mother of a toddler and one on the way. I purchased a Symbol, medium firm, queen non pillow top and now I am completely nervous! I am switching from a sealy posturpedic. I hope I am satisfied with the list of complaints on here!

Terrible company

I purchase a symbol mattress in Nov 2010 the mattress sleeps great but it's coming apart the quilting on the pillowtop is coming apart I purchased the mattress at ollies in burlinton NC and I payed $300.00 for it when I told them what was happening they told me they only have a 30 day warranty the mattress I bought has a tag that say it has a 7 year warranty on it I'm really upset I have call the company and they told me they would get in contact with ollies I have heard nothing back from ollies or the company and it's been over a month since I talked to someone what does this say for the company and the dealer do they not care about the consumer all they care about is selling who care if it comes apart and you have to purchase another one in about 6 months .
