Renewal of magazines

I received a card about renewal time and how to cancel before a certain date. I called trying to cancel and it would not let me cancel without renewing for one year. I don't want ot renew I want to CANCEL. Last year I was charged $119.00 at one time for four different magazines. I never remember ordering to begin with. I have tried to cancel several times and can never seem to be able to do so. I don't want any magazines I don't to be charged for any. Please look into this .

Canceling process

I received a card about how to cancel my subscription before renewal date. When I called I got a recording and at NO point did it let me cancel without renewing for one year. I DO NOT DO NOT want to renew I want to cancel and never receive any or be charged for ever again. How can I cancel without renewing? Please respond to me by my email; last year four different magazines cost me $119.00 that I had no idea were coming out of my account at one time. I have tried to cancel several times since and can not seem to get through. I would like a live human being to talk to if possible.

Bogus Renewal of TV Guide

Received card in mail stating this company will automatically renew my subscription unless I phoned by 9-23-2017. I phoned on 8-30-2017 at 2:40 PM. I stated that I do not want to renew. This company somehow accessed my credit card and charged me $73.00 for a $20 annual subscription. This is illegal and I am contacting my credit card company, Federal Trade Commission and every organization in which I have membership.

Subscription#0727-291-875-2

I received a postcard stating that I had a subscription to a magazine. I never ordered this and the telephone# they gave me was automated and was unable to get across to that number that I wanted to cancel. I went through 5-6 telephone numbers trying to get a person on the phone. Pretty unhappy about the whole deal. I already had a subscription for two years (till Dec 2018). How can they order a subscription that I didn't say yes to??? I'm just thinking about turning them in to the Better Business Bureau. They wanted to charge me $38 for one year. I got my two year subscription for $24.00. Slightly inflated price, huh??? I hope they don't ever involve me in something like this again!!!! Now they are asking for a confirmation code in order to submit my complaint.

illegal subscriptions

SynapseConnect sends magazines and bills me for them when I never asked for them. How do I cut them off? They are not cheap subscriptions, for magazines I never heard of.

Cancellation

rather than calling the 800 number on the card they sent in the mail, I went o their site and cancelled online. I then made printouts of each cancellation with the confirmation numbers, so that I am armed with a paper trail in case they try to continue billing me. At least, then, I have ammunition when I call my credit card company to void any bogus charges to my account. We'll see how that goes!

subscription cancallation

I will never order ANY magazine as a "bonus" for making a donation to a worthwhile endeavor FOR FEAR THAT I WILL BE INVOLVED with this service again. Again, I find, no good deed goes unpunished. Canceling the "renewal" was a bot nightmare. As my people have declared on other, even more heinous circumstances: "NEVER AGAIN!"

sent card saying auto renewal would be charged to my card

I received the card in the mail stating that 'my magazine subscriptions' would be automatically renewed if not cancelled by March 4, 2013. I have NEVER subscribed to the said magazines and I have given NO ONE authorization to charge my credit card number. After 2 very lengthy calls made to the number provided on the card and that was generated by the recording, the first call was disconnected. I called the number provided by the computer generated voice and had to go through cancelling the second so called "my magazine subscription' and finally got placed on hold and spoke with a person that identified herself as Amanda A. She said that I ordered the magazines on March 4, 2011 from a third party subscription house for $2.00. I told her that my address was not even here in 2011. She had no explanation except for all your subscriptions are on do not renew. I asked why was I sent this very upsetting notice and she said she did not know. She was kind enough to tell me how to skip the recordings- dial 1-(800) 586-5234 stay silent and press 0,0 #. This will bypass the recordings. I hope that this information helps someone else.

Magazine Renewal

I sent for a preview of several Magazines for several months for a very small fee. I used my credit card to pay this fee. This company has sent me a notice that all the magazines that I previewed (7 Magazines) would be automatically be renewed at A really high price and if I wanted to cancel, I could call a number, toll free. After calling the number, they cancelled my subscription and started a new one with no way of canceling on the automated phone call that I had made. When I ordered the previews, there was no mention of the automatic renewals. I feel I been used by this company !!! If I ever get out of this I will never preview another magazine again. Do you know an e-mail for this company, I cannot find anything but a bunch of phone numbers ??? Thank You, Louis M Castrello

Magazine Renewal

The real problem comes when you have multiple "free" (low-cost) subscriptions that came from filling out surveys like I did on Biz-rate. I received 9 months or so of two mags, then got new free subscriptions for the same two mags "that would take 6 to 8 weeks to process". A notation with the 2nd deal said to cancel auto-renewals by some upcoming date, but then I received cards in the mail regarding cancellation of my automatic renewal [which I believe is for the original deal---that I had originally cancelled any auto-renewal---so i shouldn't be receiving cancel cards for that deal].
I have no doubt I will be receiving overlapping subscriptions of the same magazine [something like this happened 8 years ago], but what I really don't want is to receive THREE of each, while being charged full-price for one of them, and trying to get my $ back.
I found at least 9 phone #s for this place, and they all give the same woman robot (Is that you "Rachel--from cardholder services" ?) Some things you need to be able to TALK to a human about.
P.S. while I was typing this, on hold with 800-601-1958, I actually got thru after pressing a few zeros and a long wait !!
