The Fatwood company

I ordered 20# of fat wood on 5/2/2012. Three weeks later , no fatwood but this jerk got his money the following day!!! 6 phone calls and an email and still no response. But hey, I found that you can actually send a message via facebook! His name is Aaron Babcock but be sure to e message the correct one... he has in his bio that he is the owner of the fatwood company and he has lovely pix whitewater rafting. Better still, we should all contact the state of Oregon's business affairs as this does appear to be internet fraud on his part. I am also planning on contacting the IRS as I'm sure our monies spent on orders qualify as his income and I'm pretty sure this guy plays the game with them too, under reporting, if at all reporting income.

Please use caution when ordering from this company

Hey Everyone, I placed an order on their website and used PayPal. Not only have I not received my order but return phone calls or responses to email. The Fatwood Company is a prime example of how anyone can post a website and make money off taking advantage of people. I contacted PayPal and file for a credit, not sure if this will lead to anything. However, my plans are to report them to the local and federal authorities. Based on the complaints I see on this website it is obvious this guy is committing fraud and theft. My plans are to contact the local and federal authorities.

Please use caution when ordering from this company

I can top everyone! I unfortunately had the same shipping issues as everyone else(paid for my order and then they didn't ship it for weeks) but when my order did finally arrive, the wood I received was nothing more than strips of normal wood!!! What a scam! I will not be bothering with the traditional return process, as I can see that will get me nowhere. I encourage everyone to contact the better business bureau, and file a complaint! At the same time I will be personally returning my purchase, as I am a truck driver and I am out that way all the time.

Please use caution when ordering from this company

I ordered and paid this company for 40 pounds of fatwood.(used for helping to start fires in fireplaces)It was the second time I ordered from this company. My address was somehow incorrect (honestly it is hard to tell who made the error-the company or the shipper-UPS)The package was returned to the company. I tried to phone MANY times, left a message and never received a return phone call. I emailed several times - ONCE getting a reply, that explained that after they deduct shipping costs (both ways) I would receive a refund in the mail(given that it was already spring I no longer needed the product.) I emailed back and explained that the shipping to me had already been paid by me-it was included in the order. Given how hard I had to work to contact them in the first place I suggested that we split the return shipping. That was the last contact we had. I never received a refund or ANY responses. They have my money AND my product. I think to treat a REPEAT, really any customer this way is shameful. I have contacted the BBB and the company has ignored them as well.

Please use caution when ordering from this company

OK, this is really a sad company as far as communication and order processing goes. Placed my order on 11-11-11, today is 11-29-11. Emailed company for status at lease 5 times, called at least 3 times. No response at all. Product was paid for on order date. How hard can it be to respond to your customers? I checked the website and there is no shipping info available for my order number. Hey FATWOOD COMPANY, DON'T YOU THINK YOU SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS?????? Either provide the product or send me a refund!
